Do a google or go to their page. And read up on their models. If you did you'd see that an ACLR is Long Range vs a Lite?

But a Lite version adequate for your needs I'm sure.

A friend has an AirBnB flat some 15m and 6 walls from his router. That is why I have suggested this model to him
I looked at the Ubiquiti page but could not find the model as you had listed it, hence my question

Yes, should be. But the lite version is adequate for most purposes.

I have a funny shaped house. A small h-shape with built-in steel wardrobes plus thick concrete walls and large garden.

So my airties mesh, which works for most, is just adequate for me. No issues BUT I can see my speeds vs others. Missed getting an Orbi mesh kit, which would have worked for me, I think.

See this link as an idea although this lite version much more modern.

Not sure what iteration my ACLR is other than passive poe which is the norm for ubiquiti and wifi 5. My assumption all are the same except for new ones which are wifi 6 and have active POE.

My understanding is that LR gives a longer range.

But the lite is totally adequate for most purposes.

Check based on the datecode,"newer" ones are compatible with both

But just damn safer to stick to poe adapter of the switch. As nothing clearly states this 24V can be plugged into an active poe switch.
