Please explain
never a good idea to send valuables via postnet, or DHL or anything else without some sort of insurance.
I dont think you get that insurance for R100,

honestly OP, Crypto has a lot of advantages over something like these. especially if you hold (hodl) on to it.
me, I would sell them at a Cash Converter/Gold Capital/SA coin place in person.
take the hit that these guys will charge you, and invest in something else like crypto next time.

Point taken. However, I NEVER divulge what I am posting, and ALWAYS package the item so as to be inconspicuous

Best place to sell coins like these is Bidorbuy. Lots of coin traders on there especially their forum. On this forum you’ll people talking about crypto and not see those coins for what they are.

I've put them on all local sites. Problem with BoB is that you must choose a postage method, unless it is collection only. So, if I am selling an item for R150, BoB's options start at R200. Very few buyers will pay double

OP seems to use Bid or Buy extensively and has recently discovered myBB as a new marketplace.

It's a public forum. Someone may know someone who works at the Bartlett Postnet. Courier companies are also being targeted (for the past 12 months already, but with lockdown it has increased):

Check tonight on eNCA:

If you have to use a courier for valuable things, rather disclose the company only to the purchaser, not the world.

Yes, I have used Bob for many years. And you are correct that I've just discovered MBB!
At my age, I've been through the Good, Bad and the Ugly
The advice here is truly appreciated, but life must go on

How do you find the demand and profitability for Africana locally vs overseas?

I think overseas is more active, but it's so difficult to trade from here

Interesting, I would have thought so too, especially with the weak rand. Sounds like you need partner in the US / Europe.
