South Africa's largest trade federation Cosatu has called for the introduction of new wealth taxes in South Africa.

I agree with unions. Go and Tax the cadres and co in government. Those BEE entrepreneurs need to pay their tax bill.

The wealthy are being forced to leave the country and the unions are only 1 of the many reasons on why they are leaving.
So to whom will these proposed taxes apply actually? Maybe, they should start with all the ANC and EFF cadres.
Soon they will propose taxes on the people earning minimum wage to support people in poverty because all the wealthy people will be gone.

Stupid, useless, lazy unions.

Agreed, tax the rich... it is high time all these Presidents, Ministers, Deputy Ministers, their staff, families, friends, BEE beneficiaries and other cronies pay their fair share of taxes. For way too many years they all relied on a very small number of people paying taxes. While this small number became even smaller over the years due to fleeing the country, the burden became to high on those left.

Instead of allowing these people to run away with Trillions made in corrupt deals, let them pay their fair share!! For once I agree with a Union.
