NAV Price 5,007.9700

Is the NAV price expressed as rands , cents ?

NAV= Nett Asset Value. This is the total value of the unit trust after costs. The NAV divided by the total number of units issued by the unit trust will equal the unit price.

As the value of the underlying investments increase or decrease the unit price of the unit trust will increase or decrease respectively.

The number of units you own times the current unit price equals the value of your investment. Unit price is normally expressed as cents.

I will forward you two youtube vids that you should watch to get a better understanding of unit trusts. I just need to post it to my website.

NAV = price for 1 unit, this will change as the shares held go up or down.
Daily Change = the daily change in price of the NAV
Yield = Dividend Yield, companies pay dividends every so now and then (varies), this yield is a percentage on the NAV per year, in other words you get that on top of NAV growth. Most funds pay Dividends twice a year.

Please read as much as you can regarding unit trust and investing in general before investing more of your money. Throwing your money at something you know little about is not a very good idea.
