We all hear government touting phrases like universal access and bridging the digital divide and generally it’s like water off a ducks back with me. The ideas are great but the implementation is a botch-up which I think is half the reason why most of us switch off when we hear this type of government clap trap.

Very well written, and altogether too true. Very nice story Cara.

I've also had a similar experience at a garage, and it kind of opened my eyes that lots more people KNOW about the internet, but just have no chance of getting onto it because Telscum put it out of the reach of almost everyone in this country.

Like whats going on with this Seacomm thing, I personally feel it all boils down to kick-backs and the reason the USALs are not working the way they should is because the kick-backs weren't big enough and guavamint isn't interested anymore.
