So they will all do an AI 101 course? Not useful enough to consider any of them as candidates for a role that does require knowledge in AI.

Or will it be a full on multi year course which results in no more graduates as everybody is failing a course that has nothing to do with what they actually want to study?

Strange that they make AI compulsory while the majority of failures, I mean students, do not have the human instelligence to pass matric without government intervention. Anyway, probably not worth getting excited about as more than 90% of students will anyway fail it and drop out before their final year.

I don't know if other peoole have picked up on this, but we have in recent years seen a increase in the amount of people with one or two year degrees. Yeah I know there is no such thing, but apparently if you drop out in the 1st or 2nd year, you get a 1 or 2 year degree, and the morons pitching up for interviews defend it voraciously even though there is no such thing. I wonder how long it will be until the ANC makes it legal?

I completely approve of all graduates in every needing to pass a machine learning module in order to graduate.

Have you seen the anc's way of passing a subject? Just pitch up for class every day. Don't worry about passing exams, the examinayors have been instructed to inflate failing marks to make them pass. No need to learn anything, sit and sleep off your babbelas, and cone end of the year, you can pass on attendance.

I'm not entirely sure how a quick AI course is going to make it any easier for a gender studies major to find work, but good for them I suppose.
Will be awesome. Microsoft Outlook add-in where the computer guesses the recipient pronouns every time you write an email.
