I am certain that it happens all the time, maybe the journalists also don't know? Sure we will find out soon. Why not include this level of basic detail? It's basic journalism.

Whatever, sonny. I've previously told you where I lived and why I don't have a lot of respect for police - and that's purely because they treat you like schit depending where you live. Those days are gone. This what you wish you said when you thought about it later after sobering up?
It's likely yes that the media don't know. The crims have apparently appeared but I assume they have not pleaded so can't be named yet.I am certain that it happens all the time, maybe the journalists also don't know? Sure we will find out soon.
Plus there is really no motivation to push and find details, unfortunately when a case it's not high profile enough the media doesn't really go out of their way to dig for such details. It's likely yes that the media don't know. Being the midget that you are, I don't blame you not walking around after dark.
They will kill you first and THEN go through your pockets
I have always wondered why the cops/security don't actively patrol the streets past midnight and search people wandering about? Sure, you will mostly get a lot of p*ssed of people complaining about their liberties but if it means you get to nab the one f*cker that is planning a murder/mugging like this and you get to save a life in the process, then it should be worthwhile?
RIP and condolences to the young man and his family - another life that was taken away too early
Until you feel persecuted and (in my case because I'm not white) profiled when they drive past the white guy and pull up onto the sidewalk to question you. Yes, this happens to me a lot!
Hey jy, jou lang nai. Where are you going? Where are you coming from?
Me: first of all jou ma se po3s, secondly we can go to the station right now and we open counter crimen injuria cases against each other. Thirdly, unless you go and cross-question that white guy whom you passed and, instead, pulled your bakkie up in my face, I'm also going to open a case against you with IPID for harassment and police misconduct - preventing me from walking in a public space, without probable cause infringes on my constitutional right to freedom of movement.
It's loads of fun messing with them![]()
Black or coloured. There are occasions where it would be police from Durbanville patrolling and most of those ****ers are white. I stay on the border of Kraaifontein and Durbanville (more toward KFTN)
Day in, day out...the same old story. Someone's short life (or older person, doesn't really matter) snuffed out for some cell phone.
How human life became so worthless in this country is anyone's guess![]()

I'm not arguing but feel for the (minority) SAPS who are good people trying to do a difficult job. IMHO the worst cretins are the deployed ANC cadres / politically connected / corrupt individuals at "management" level and the "system" where criminality is rife. My interaction with SAPS has been reasonable and the one really bad one with a pale police reservist. Our people duties is to give out case nos for insurance purposes. I see them more like barely literate security guards at insurance companies.
The minority stands no chance, the mentality is such that there is generally opposition for any system that has been established by other races even if it works well and serves the people well. It has decayed to such an extent that you find ANC cadres/unions working against the very systems and measures put in place to benefit everyone of all race, religion and background. But because of the sheer spite and hatred that is being fed daily by politicians, it continues to destroy every state institution with some weird notion that it will be rebuilt from the ground up and with pride say we've done so. Black people working within state institutions are extremely politicized and racist which is counterproductive need I say more...I'm not arguing but feel for the (minority) SAPS who are good people trying to do a difficult job. LCBXX suspecting a conspiracy???What is it in your opinion? Are you suspecting some major conspiracy?
That it is!That is one of the most confused borders there is. Langeberg Ridge falls under Kraaifontein municipal offices but under Durbanville police.
Thrust out your paw and say "Gimme money I'm from Zimbabwe" this totally blows them away. It somehow short circuits the brain fuses.I get racially profiled by beggars because I'm white. They clock me and make a bee line for me ignoring all the rich darker guys around them.
