Ordered a Nokia 630 last week ... still awaiting delivery :crying:

My Samsung S3 broke and I needed a replacement (or maybe even a future backup) while I'm still pondering my options. Yes the Pocket Neo is cheaper than the Nokia but even if I were to sell the phone again I wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy. Have been using a Galaxy Fame (which is 10 times better than the Neo) for the past week and it's utter hell.

Ya I didn't get the contract for the phone. I already have a new awesome phone. I did it because it's R99 pm for all those awesome benefits :) Will maybe use the phone when I go out or something

Nee, o doner.

You not gonna pull any chicks when you whip that little thing out.

I mean the Galaxy Pocket. :)
You've got a point maybe for only the extremely drunken nights :D

Telkom LTE is pretty darn impressive.

Few of my friends using it and extremely happy with it.
I'm happy so far :) well it's only been a few hours but still!

Does anyone know if it still applies that you can call a telkom landline for free? Or has that perk passed?

If your contract had it, you could nominate one landline number and make calls to it for free.

Think you can bolt it on a contract for R35 a month?

Just my luck. My street not covered by TM Network. So at home it will roam and exclude the unlimited TM Network Data.

get a prepaid SIM and check in case...

+1

The maps are not always up to date.

You can buy a prepaid sim for 99c from most stores, load some airtime on it, then put the sim in your phone and run a speedtest + check reception bars.

Just a quick question for those who ordered these new R99 "unlimited" data packages ... how long did you wait for your SIM to be activated? My phone & SIM was delivered on Thursday morning and I'm still waiting (even though I phoned 180 & 10213 several times)

Telkom Rep, please note you have PM incoming.

The day I got mine, I signed the RICA papers from the delivery guy, then after work I went into a TM store to port my old number. Old sim stopped working later that night, put the new one in and it worked

Can I port a number to this deal? Don't want to give up my number. Or should I invest in a dual sim phone?
