Rain´s network performance has not been great in recent days despite excellent signal.

What was the signal before because the stats you posted seem weak. I have slightly better stats with my indoor unit.
Slightly higher NR on the signal quality previously but signal intensity has been the same. I had this issue two weeks back and logged it with Rain. Was escalated and got my speeds back by the next day. Hopefully will be sorted soon.

When you log a call with Rain, do you actually call or send an e-mail to support?
I personally have found they are really bad on their support e-mails.

My Rain 5G died completely on Wednesday and Friday night for a few hours, and other times I get a few minutes of no signal. I am running perpetual pings and it will go from 8-20ms to nothing in a few pings, but my signal strength is still 4/5 bars, and tonight we have a storm overhead but Rain 5G is fine.

It was perfect for a few months and then this started early December.

I actually logged my previous issues through their web chat function available on their website then requested the ticket reference before exiting. Always emailed myself the transcript of the chat so I can refer back when an escalation is needed or to follow up using the chat function. Never sent an email.

For your issue maybe a traceroute or WINMTR (gives traceroute + ping)may provide more insight which you can provide when you log the support call.

Thanks for the reply. I'll use PingPlotter and gather some data to send to them.

Not me. Do you get the blue connected light at the bottom of unit or red? There is a diagnostic function in settings somewhere. Try that.

The light just is a faint red during boot and when the Internet is on via the lan port you don’t get the blue light. It’s very weird but I have called rain now anyway to see what they say. Maybe the unit has died a little

My speeds have almost halved in comparison on what i used to get when I initially signed up, however it is still beating the 10Mbps aDSL that I use to have... so no worries, but begs the question, where has half the speed gone...

Maybe contact RAIN then and let them know. It might be something affecting the whole area and you could be helping others out.
:)
that I have, they say nothing that they can see wrong / affecting such a speed drop on their end...
but they said once the technicians come back, they will come through to my premises to have a look... they should be back to work tomorrow, so lets see...
