Yuu, a friend and myself found out that MWEB will throttle you if it seems you have automated downloading on. They assume that if a person is at their desk and clicking on a website, they will use data, and if not, they will not. So they are saying that you cannot be on the internet for one week straight, and if your data shows usage for that week, 24 hours a day, they will throttle you saying that you broke the AUP. They will do it even if you run your line at 10kb instead on 200kb on a 2mbps line. Happened to a friend. It makes no sense but they are going to lose a large amount of clients and the people that use 5gb on a uncapped account and hardly use the service, wont be throttled and will be happy. They don't realize that over a long period of time, more and more people are starting to actually use their service properly. I usually use at max 180gb on a 1mbps, and that is not even half the max capacity. If you are still with mweb and don't have a wooden pc, change ISP's like yesterday. Best move you can ever make.
