Unreal Tournament 2004

I see it has alien/monster types. Are these alien/monster types like humans carrying weapons or the ilk of the Quake 4/Doom 3? I have to say that I am no longer able to stomach monsters that can do strange things. Like those small buggers in Far Cry that would jump at you and claw the living daylights out of you.

That's not relevant. It's still a very very big game, and still played by many many people around the world.

As for the question at hand. No, these "monsters" are nothing like the crap in Doom or quake. These are just like aliens that carry weapons. UT2004 is not a scary game. It's a mulitplayer game dude.

The main alien race are called the Skaarj (if you play Unreal I or II you can get the whole story). They aren't like the cyborgs like in Q4 or D3 - they are a pure alien race.
