Hi again everyone

Why doesn't your unused bandwidth from previous months get added to your current month's limit? I calculate that I have 7.5 gigs left over from he last 5 months. Is there any sort of general effort to get Telscum to implement this? The 3 gig limit is fascist enough without them ignoring your underutilisation in previous months. In fact, I'd have to say it's theft on their part to *not* allow the carryover bandwidth you could have to be exhausted first before implementing the cap. How do we best make a stink about this?

Thanks

Ciao

Could you elaborate please? Who was spoken to? What was their response? etc. I see no reason why Telkom should be allowed to get away with this.

RPM (the owner of this forum) discussed many issues regarding ADSL directly with Telkom, one of which was the cap. Telkom basically said "sorry buddy that's the way it is". As a result of Telkom's unwillingness to even consider what their customers are asking for a formal complaint has been submitted to ICASA. Read the Announcements section for the current status.
