According to various statistics (from Statistics South Africa), amongst others, it is estimated that between 8 and 10 million illegal immigrants have made a home in South Africa. Some reports suggest that around half of these may be Zimbabwean. Our official population is pegged at around 47 million, so that would mean we have around 20% more people here than is officially accepted.

From a police perspective - it is staggering how many crimes are committed by Zimbabweans. The majority of the time we are called out there is a Zimbabwean involved, unless it is drug related in which case you can bet your bottom dollar there's Nigerian involvement. Can't these people just **** up their own countries and stop coming to destroy ours?

Hey, we have the same problem here. But we get 10 million a year. Spanish is a second language now, and even the voter ballots are in both languages. This is insane stuff. The politicians all want the illegals to vote for them, so nobody guards the borders (except some American cowboys down in Arizona). They just sit there and look across the border; keeps some of em out at least. Why don't we insist the other countries take care of their own so we don't have to support them? Here in America, you get a better education and free healthcare if you are an illegal. Next time I get in trouble, I'm going to speak Spanish and see if I can get out of it.
