Getting cold in cpt, so more heaters going to be running...
They said they hope to return 8 units over the weekend. Can only imagine most of them are boiler tube leaks, they have a long turn around time. They then have to hope that more units don't trip. I suspect we'll be seeing load shedding in the next week as well, that's if they somehow manage to get out of the current woods.I'm hoping later today. Why so long with such a low stage? Sure it was just a precaution.

Not really just be lucky they didn't jump to a higher stage. Looking at the figures from the spokesperson over the last few days, we're lucky it didn'tThanks for the info.
Still seems unusually long for stage 2 compared to all in the past, so quietly hoping..

Okay, so I was half right..Due to lower weekend demand loadshedding will lowered to Stage 1 from 22:00 until 05:00 on Monday.
Mid to long term not looking good at all.Oh and the outages are worse then when we started
The alarming thing is that we're supposed to be repairing / maintaining Koeberg, and that isn't happening. The alarming thing is, winter hasn't even arrived.
Either they must be highly confident about that changing shortly, or more lies involved.Kek. We are actually down more MWs now than we were on Monday.
Or mistakes in the notice(s)??Either they must be highly confident about that changing shortly, or more lies involved.

That _needs_ to happen.
Thats another 800MW or so off the grid for each unit they take off for repair. Winter is coming...
