On Sun four units tripped, but returned on Monday.

On Monday - eight units tripped. that removed 3300 MW.

Only one unit returned thus far.

Withing 36 hours - total net 4200 MW worth of loss - over and above this.

I must say load shedding for me is an inconvenience, but a small one. I work 8-5 and watch my load shedding times very carefully.

In those 2 hrs odd I either sleep or watch movies / tv shows on the laptop when at home. I always make sure laptop is charged. If I forget I have laptop B to failover onto.

So I'm always sorted. Doesn't really bother me this load shedding. Probably because I don't have a life but I guess it's working out to my advantage.

Yeah but only 720x2 in the next 2 to 3 years. By then old units will be shut down so it's not a big net gain in new capacity.
