Eskom announces increased load-shedding — here is the updated timetable

Eskom has announced that it will no longer reduce load-shedding from Wednesday.

Instead, load-shedding will remain at stage 4 between 16:00 and 05:00, and stage 3 from 05:00 to 16:00 daily until further notice.

Eskom updates load-shedding timetable

Eskom has announced that it plans to have alternating stage 3 and stage 4 load-shedding on Monday and Tuesday, and hopes to reduce the level of power cuts by Wednesday.

“Stage 3 load-shedding will be implemented at 05:00 – 16:00 daily, while Stage 4 load-shedding will be implemented nightly at 16:00 – 05:00 on both Monday and Tuesday,” the state-owned power utility said.

Just wondering how much of all this is true or a lot of BS. Has anybody in your country questioned this?

I am shocked and appalled at this behaviour. This is so unlike Eskom, giving hope and light at the end of a long dark tunnel, only to show you it's a bend into the rest of the even longer darker tunnel.

Absolutely out of character for ANC Elektries.

Slightly better then 5 and 6? Right I mean right?
A lot of the times even more. Our infrastructure is so screwed that sometimes when the power should be coming on something blows and we are out for hours on end.

There is that issue as well

Slowly getting the public used to government underperformance.
The cANCer are the type of people that need the gallows. Useless slime, everything last one of them.

So my whole area, at least every week or two has some magical 32 hour power outage, or substation breaks, or some other made up bull. Getting over it, it's like they are hiding severe blatant blackouts behind power failures it happens so often.
