Eskom plans to suspend load-shedding for 11 hours — here is the timetable
Eskom has announced that it plans to reduce load-shedding incrementally over the weekend, and aims to briefly suspend it on Sunday afternoon.
“Due to an improvement in available generation capacity, together with the lower weekend demand for electricity, Stage 4 load-shedding will be implemented from 05:00 on Friday morning until 05:00 on Saturday morning,” Eskom stated.

Eskom hopes to reduce load-shedding by the weekend
Eskom plans to reduce load-shedding to stage 4 on Friday, 3 February 2023, with intentions to drop power cuts to stage 3 by Saturday.
This is according to Eskom's head of generation, Thomas Conradie, who explained that the return of several generating units to service and low weekend demand should allow the power utility to reduce load-shedding.
