This comes after a unit each at the Matla, Kendal, Matimba, Kusile and Grootvlei power stations tripped on Monday, while a unit each at Arnot and Hendrina power stations were forced shut down.
eSkommel employees feeling the pinch again after overspending so break a bunch of units and get paid a windfall of overtime.

When ever someone says they forced a unit shutdown something tells me something went wrong quick and now it definitely broken

Our power was suppose to be off from 00H00-02H30 but only came back on now at 06H15.

Next slot is suppose to be from 08H00-10H30

Yup that is pretty much the entire fleet, which hasn't been used for quite sometime.

I would just like to point out, my statement was incorrect on this thread.


Eskom delays Koeberg repairs to avoid load-shedding​

Firstly they didn't delay repairs, they delayed replacement, the unit is still down for refueling, repairs and maintenance as per it's usual 400 day cycle.
