Ah but the NP was in power from 1948.
"in power" bowing to the whims of the British Empire

nothing happened without at least their tacit approval

makes one wonder, has Britain ever apologized for its role in it all? segregation laws in the 1910's sure as hell was as much their doing as any locals

  • UK Official Development Assistance (ODA) spend was £15,197 million, an increase of £645 million (4.4% increase) on 2018
15 billion pounds on developmental assistance in one year.
  • Africa remained the largest recipient of UK region-specific bilateral ODA in 2019 – accounting for 50.6%
At least some of that went to South Africa. How much more do you want?

Durbanville, Cape Town, was supposed to come back online at 0h30. Running 12 minutes + late now. Very unusual.

Is the grid finally in its moer?

For a change mine actually came back on time, which is rare. But yeah it's still early days, by day three the substations in JHB fall over like domino's after each "shittining"

Still off here. Very unusual here in the Republic of the Western Cape, more specifically the City of Cape Town.

Feels like failure of substations but coct support only state there is an issue and technicians were send out. Great way of being vague as fk.

Our power is still off.

City of Cape Town is a joke.

Every night same story
Suppose to be on at 1200 it's 1;30 now

Going off again at 6am

So they just leave it off

Only a specific 'wide" area experiencing an outage?

A first over here anyway.

What is the cost per unit to run a commercial generator for a building I'm starting to think it might be cheaper to run a generator
