UPs making ticking sound when charging laptop through it

Hi .I have an ecoflow rivermax 2 (around 500W) and it has been working really fine without any noise until recently when I changed my place...In the new place also, it works fine, just that when I charge my laptop during loadshedding , it starts making clicking noise and laptop also starts making weird noises after every few seconds (sounds as if a button is pressed on laptop)..when there is no loadshedding, then everything works fine....
When I put higher watt devices, it works fine, problem is just with laptop..(even if I put just laptop on my UPS)..I searched on internet and it said that proper sine wave isn't provided to laptop, that's why the UPs and laptop makes such a noise....

I am curious as to why these problems with my laptop weren't there in my previous place...(as the UPS is same, laptop is same and all other parameters seem to have unchanged)

Also, has anyone encountered similar problem when charging laptop with UPS..also, can I continue charging laptop like this , during loadshedding (with the clicking sound ), is it safe to do so...?
