I still want to build my own that runs via lithium ion, but in the mean time.

I want a UPS to power the Synology and Internet (this is called the Network Corner) and consumes up to 35 watts

I also want a seperate UPS to power the TV and Soundbar, this is called TV corner and uses up to 160 watts.

I do not want a UPS that makes a sound. (primary reason for wanting to build my own, lithium is smaller and I can use LEDs instead of buzzers.

I want the TV corner to be able to run for 2 hours.

I want the network corner to run for up to 4 hours (worst case Eskom scenario).

How long is also important.

Doesn’t make a sound.

Forget the buzzers you realise all these things make a heck of a noise whole under battery load right?

Which is why people park them in the garage.

Just get this and you don’t even need to worry about calculations.

But beeping and buzzing is too much.

That thing suitable to charge LiFePo4 and other batteries or just Lead Acid?

Those are too bulky, simply not an option.

The UPS must be out of sight in the cupboard or drawer.

I think the answer is building this myself, doesn't seem there's a product on the market for this.

Can the TV run off DC? 1 x 12V 200Ah LFP battery, 1 x lithium charger and DC-DC buck converters?

I want for simplicity, just plug the multi plug into the UPS device.

Same with the network rack, I don't want to mess with the Synology so also just want to plug the multi plug into the UPS.

Need an inverter/charger, probably pure sine wave rather than modified as I think they're quieter. Something like an axpert 1000W 12V with mecer battery. Can add solar too.

@Thor - You’re an ideal candidate for what is referred to probably incorrectly as a solar generator or portable power station. Something like an appropriately sized Jackery would meet your requirements. Obviously they’re at a slightly premium price because they’re all in one but they’re convenient in terms of size and portability.

Edit: one of these for the tv corner would probably provide 3-4hrs :
https://ecodepot.co.za/products/jackery-explorer-500-lithium-ion-portable-power-station-500w-518wh?utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=google&utm_campaign=Google Shopping&currency=ZAR&gclid=Cj0KCQiAvP6ABhCjARIsAH37rbS65VJlw1azgWKvH4a_EL7WZWqsu9z1zfCzehgdw8LS3Nw0pyvsXrgaAlMdEALw_wcB

They have a smaller one which would be overkill for the network side but would be fine.

I think you may be living in your own reality.

A thing doesn’t exist in that size or capacity or thermal requirements (or price range) because it’s simply not possible.

If it’s the size you want it won’t be able to provide the capacity you want.

If it’s the capacity you want it will be too big.

And if it’s in the place you want in both capacity and size then it will likely overheat.

(And when it does all fit and ticks all the boxes you won’t want to pay for it, although that will still likely be cheaper than trying to do it yourself)

Hence why you do it at the DB board where it’s out of sight and the space and noise issue isn’t such a consequence.

They actually aren’t very bulky at all while also being portable. Best solution for your needs.

Also why do you have a camera pointed at yourself while watching TV? Moonlighting on Onlyfans?

Exactly what you’ll be able to do with the solution provided.

But clearly you only work with pipe dreams and unreality.

With 2 of these:

Didn’t know those exist.

Warranty is a bit useless for the price though.
