URGENT! Can I pick up someone else's drivers licence?

Urgent advice, please. Will leave in an hour or so!

Can I pick up someone's drivers licence from the Licencing office? They will give me a letter, their ID and the temporary driver's licence that was issued when she applied?

The letter must be certified, IE affidavit style, cert copies of your and Their IDs, and I think there is a spot on the receipt that needs to be signed, and original receipt must go with you.

Yes you can, the instructions and documentation you need to take with should be on the back of their temporary driver's licence.

If another person is set to collect the driving licence, the person collecting the licence will need to have:

A certified copy of their identity document.A certified copy of the driver's identity document.An affidavit stating why the driver cannot collect the licence himself/herself which also states the name and ID number of the person collecting the licence.

@OP,


has the friend/family renewed their DL before the expiry or have a temp(valid a few months normally), then they should be ok if they postpone the collection for a few days.
