Urgent help with App store

I recently bought an iPod Touch 4G and was VERY VERY disappointed with the lack of apps on the SA iStore! Is it by any means possible to create a US iStore account? and how? I am extremely frustrated, because I bought the iPod touch for the apps and now almost none of my desired apps are available on the SA store! Thanks!

Browse some of the threads. All the info has been posted a few times. Check the stickys (tips and tricks),it's definitely posted in there somewhere and probably quite earky on in the thread.
