So you would prefer to answer 1000 emails directly rather than just stating it once here?

Of course. It's much easier to screw all of us separately behind closed doors, than collectively over here. ;)

Does your "market related salary" fall within the range of R40k pm to R55k pm CTC?

Or by [NO SALARY] did you mean the candidate will not be earning a salary (slave labour?)

Also, please can you specify what suburb in Cape Town?

You are sooooo busy you're reading all the sarcastic remarks and even replying to them, even though you specifically asked to be contacted via email.

To help you pass the time and eliminate stress, here's a Google Pac Man game:

Is this for a permanent position or a limited time contract? R750k pa is very nice until your contract ends. Then it's not so nice.

Also, which suburb in the southern suburbs? It makes a difference to travelling, I'm sure you understand.

And I'm not fooling around here. I have 15 years' dev experience, with C++ my main dev language (Java and C a good second and third place, and a bunch of other languages too). Oh, and I'm quite proficient with shell scripting on linux (mainly using sed and native commands).

I have very good experience in SQL Server (was a DB admin in addition to my dev duties for 2 years), did the optimisations, deadlock resolutions and all that funky stuff, and also have solid experience in postgres.

I don't have Qt specific experience, but I do have GUI programming experience (Borland C++, codegear, RAD studio with a bunch of plugins).

Okay, that's just a very brief overview of my experience to let you know my interest is genuine. If you have challenging work (i.e. difficult problems to solve that will keep me mentally stimulated), then I am interested. Otherwise, I'm not your guy.

Sorry you are under qualified - I don't see any MS Office experience.

Maybe you can get a job as an Assistant Junior Tester?
