It's easier for me to keep up with the thread right now because I've started skipping past posts from the usual suspects... It's always the same shyte on the wall, presented as art, in an infinite loop.
I find it fascinating/uncanny... the same crap over and over again...with not a ounce of awareness... loop playing over and over again,..

If the UK acted like Russia, then UK would park a nuclear submarine off Cape Town and say, SA gov under ANC is oppressing our English speaking minority, SA will hand over the Western Cape and parts of the Witwatersrand under control of seperatist movements and if that does not happen, force will be used. And the UK has nuclear weapons and may use those at her discretion. Essentially it would be that.

How is the DA actually going to the Embassy to officially give support to Ukraine, virtue signalling?

Oh, wait, I don't like it so it's virtue signalling...
you stuck on a DA loop...everywhere you go, you drag the DA into conversation --we get it, you are an ardent DA supporter...ma for the love of ... --- we already dealing with rabbit hole dwellers -

One sided links which ONLY take insatiable Russian imperialism as the only de facto standard and the reasoning is that America should ideally isolate and let our Russian and Chinese overlords dictate everything. I can see how that would work in South Africa where we would see the gov copying Russian and Chinese methods because those seem to be the de facto world standard.

Of course Nico Nico sits in France, supposedly, he travels a lot around Eastern Europe. He's not a friend of the West nor of South Africa where he will just then say, well the former colonists should go back home to Netherlands or UK and enjoy Russian caviar and vodka there.
You weren't a friend of SA in some of your posts either. You even stated that you care what South Africans think in some of your rants.

If Russia and China become more dominant and influential and US retreats, do you think SA will have a better record of human rights internally or not?

I am waiting for @Mirai to condemn that other autocratic country that is using western oil money to bomb and kill innocent people in what is effectively a geopolitical turf war.

Nico-Nico - which one? Saudi Arabia. Yes of course.

Nico- just leave France. Leave it. Move to Russia.

Oh what a joke. What a childish way to read that.

Yes I don't care what people who have a hard on for Russia and think they're either their conservative friend or just give it to the colonists think. These people have no idea about the region and get their news from RT.

But if you care about SA and human rights here, and Western democracy here, you want Russia and China to be LESS DOMINANT in the world.

What do you think guarantees our freedoms in SA?

The constitution is a piece of paper.

If peoples' perceptions change to, maybe Russian way of solving disputes is OK, and we can have their support, and America is too weak now, maybe we can you know.... clean up our situation here. Who knows.

Did YOU, of all people, just assume its gender? HOW DARE YOU!!

funny how that thread further down tries to portray her as "not triggered", provides a video clip of her as evidence, people fall for it and believe she was not actually triggered, but conveniently leaves out the part where she loses her **** about assuming her gender.

nice example of whats going on in general

So are you saying that you didn't say: "I don't care what South Africans think."? Along with some junk about your taxes funding NATO...

Again what a childish way of understanding things.

Yes I don't care what some people who don't know what's going on and have a hard on for Russia because they're championing their conservative values or they are giving it to colonists think. These people don't know what's going on. I don't care what people think. This place isn't a popularity club for me. I don't need your likes or dislikes bud. And that you're offended by something which is not anti-South African but pointing out that some people don't understand what's going on, is strange. Either you don't understand English or you are just trolling now.

The tax thing was a response to Vorastra who's taxes also fund NATO in Portugal. He had some concern trolling.

NATO is a defensive organisation where every member actually wants to be in the club. It has no power of its own. It's the governments who decide if they will fight or not but they signed a treaty so they have obligations under treaties. It's like being in the United Nations and saying now - UN is in control of your country. Which is backward hillbilly stuff.

Nothing, --once the critical mass of the collective's perception , whether it be at cultural, ... state or global level - changes...so reality changes...--but the collective perception feeds from the individual perception of reality... - here is where self identity needs to be understood... humanity collectively / (the individual singularly) always falls into the trap of over identifying with some aspect of the reality that it collectively creates...history is littered with our "misadventures" -- hence the cul de sacs of slavery, racism and plenty of other...moving to Vlad, -- he has created a closed society, a massive echo chamber...not dissimilar to Apartheid South Africa, - and that is why I have no doubt that most Russians have no idea or do not even care...as life is good for them, at the moment....only discomfort/suffering leads to looking at situations with new perspective, cutting off the pull of the collective.. Way I see it, Putin has gone full retard...due to the effects of the pandemic ... he started to believe the reality he has created for Russia...and now it is becoming unstuck...like a thread in a garment...pull it long enough and garment starts unraveling...

What the government does and yes what sort of message they send out in the ether. If pro-hard line anti Western people get in power, things will become more anti-Western. The average person will fall in line. Maybe we would get our own internet too like in Russia.

The world is watching and seeing which camp to ally or at least align with. If Western ideas are weak, if they benefit some inconvenient people too much. we may see some people use non-Western nations as models.

I suspect that most people here on this forum don't want that.

It's not against any international law for volunteers to join from other nations. If Ukraine gov gives these people status of soldier in their army then Russia must obey international law when dealing with these people as these are legal combatants, as Ukraine is still in charge of the country. It may be illegal in SA itself. I think South Africans have to obey our laws here first and foremost.
