Javelins are on the way, Stingers too.

One Stinger vs a plane full of paratroopers. Good odds.

And I believe that the Javelins can take out helicopter gunships as well.
Now imagine them in the hands of civilians

You do know that German's and the whole EU's aim is to not have any fossil fuels.
And that is precisely why Russian gas is so important now.
They moved to ineffective technology.
Going green was their downfall.
Now they are dependent.
Should have gone nuclear.

Aaaaand, there we go. We have found the level.

Zimababwe has nothing to fear and no need to wipe 'foreign forces' off the map. The West already saw this coming, hence the reason they are not involved here. These third-world countries do pose a massive risk to them.

I admire your bloodlust. However you think Ukraine stands a chance against a military super power?

They are being conscripted in to defend their country. Something other nations did and do in times of war. Death may follow but then any soldier must face that he may die. Soldiers are actually called to die, if necessary.

Their official government is conscripting them and that makes them members of their armed forces, which means the Geneva Convention applies to them.

I am sure that even in the Boer war conscription occurred. It definitely occurred in Eastern Europe.

can you show records of afrikaners being conscripted during those times? as far as i know they were voluntary fighters, protecting the family and land etc. no need for conscription. it is part what made them such a force to reckon with.

anyway

i am not and never have been in favour for being forced to go fight over some other twats argument.

for those ukrainians that want to go fight, sure its their choice, but forcing someone i am against, you keep your country and land and what ever you think is worth dying over. the death will be meaningless and forgotten.

The long game is to be Russian gas free.
But if push comes to shove they can get gas elsewhere, it is more expensive, but they can do it.
Russia will lose a lot of money and their economy will tank.

They are hesitant to do that because Russian money is convincing people not to do that and it's also more expensive to get gas elsewhere, but it is definitely not impossible. And it becomes harder to co-operate with Russia after they start wars so close to Europe.

Yeah, but very small.

And the President and some parlimentarians are Jewish.

Ever heard of Jewish Nazi's ?

Get a life, and just admit that Putin is a demented half-wit.

yes i have heard of a jewish nazi, you need to brush up on your history.

have you ever heard of people betraying their own kind for riches?

is your life lived under a rock or something

Were there many who refused? Could they also leave any time they wanted to? You know sometimes conscription is implicit.

That's called conscription. Russia has done it, USA has done it, many others have done it. We had it in SA under SADF.

You're now arguing against something which is commonly done everywhere. Yes there are professional armies and territorial defense forces (national guard) but if there is an all out war, then able bodied men are usually called up to fight. Many of these men already have had military training.

That's why the Russians should not have invaded.

You are talking about Putin now, I guess ?

He has been one of the main players betraying his people for money.

Lol. In China you’d be a model citizen supporting the state and its clamping down on dissidents.

In EFF South Africa, you’d be the dissident.
In China I would already be in one of the camps or have had my organs harvested.

To be fair, UPA were more anti-Polish than anti-anyone else. When the Soviets occupied them they turned their attention on the Soviets. Ukrainians did co-operate with Hitler but not because they loved the ideology but because they had a common enemy or common enemies. On the one side many disliked Poland, on the other side they were oppressed by the Soviets. The current lot are not followers of Hitler or some sort of Germany supporters but are ultra nationalists with an authoritarian bend. They could co-operate with anyone who has a common enemy with them. But they are a minority of Ukrainians.

No, the Ukraine won't win.

But it is becoming more and more apparent that the Russian people are also against this war. See the TV Video of demonstrations in Russia.

So the more Russian soldiers that go home in plastic bags, the sooner the Russian people will revolt and this will all end.

Maybe Putin ends up like Mussolini.

I'm talking about Zuma supporting the Russians. Such a weird narrative going on here when the right wingers and the Zuma supporters are in bed together. As I said, Russia, China, EFF, birds of a feather.
