Guuuuhhh... Rietrot armchair warrior realizes what people who are in the middle of a battle zone during an illegal invasion of their country, with it's sovereignty openly targeted, do not.

Please! Please send them a letter with clear instructions so that they know that after throwing the petrol bomb they must run. Oh dear! How could they have missed that?

And while you do that... Remember that to sell this invasion to Russian citizens at home - Putin must keep Russians convinced that they are actually just liberating their Ukrainian brothers and sisters. From... something (derp). That it is a war of peace and love.
Bra. You are like a child having emotional outbursts. Shame.

He has a fundamental misunderstanding of what this means to the people of Ukraine. The citizens are very willing to die for Ukraine.

They will be remembered as heroes like those who rose against the Nazis in thr ghetto of Warsaw, the pits of Auschwitz, streets of Prague and countryside of France.

They are able to see a concept that Rietrot has no idea of.

Doing something for the greater good.

The President, Zelensky had embodied this spirit.

I believe it is their sovereignty, and they have the right to protect that sovereignty.
But Russians shouldn’t attack. You do know war has been declared. Clearly the are well restrained. It’s a matter of time in a high stress situation somebody is going to pull the trigger.

This not an altercation outside the pub.

And you are romanticizing a losing battle.

To be clear I find it tragic that civilians are fighting. But more than that... I find it tragic that they feel they have to. That's entirely on Russia as far as I'm concerned. From any reasonable perspective it is perfectly understandable.

Rietrot's rhetoric in the matter infuriates me. This tendency of being perfectly happy while Russians send Chechen kill squads after the members of a democratically elected civilian government of, and during the invasion of, a sovereign nation. But then the moment some civilians fight back he's like: "Now their gonna really get f'd up!"

I honestly have no idea what you are trying to get at. That is not the stance held by Russia. They announced a mandate to conduct peacekeeping within two disputed regions within Ukraine which served as a precursor to a large-scale invasion of Ukrainian sovereignty, moving on its capital. Russia took the position that they are acting in self-defence, and anyone, in my view, who believes that is a monumental chop.

Russia acted in aggression; it is as simple as that, it is a declaration of war as you said, but it is enacted by Russian mandate.
