This estimate is only valid if you add a life per km per day comparison as well.
Dunno man. Media always tends to err on the more sensationalist side and inflate numbers. Has happened in every war in modern history.

Id rather die by nuke than to live under his rule, and no @rvZA I WONT get use to it because he is going to be the next super power, not happening.

@The_Mowgs, unfortunately not you, nor I or anyone else will have another option. No, we will not die by nukes. We are entering a new era in the world. The world will be run by two super powers and that is Russia and China. We all will have to get used to it. The past 10 years here in SA we got a small taste of what is yet to come. This will happen globally.

I have no idea how accurate and reliable US made statements like these are,

US official: Putin has more than 50% "of his total assembled power" inside Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin has more than 50% "of his total assembled power now committed inside Ukraine,” a senior US defense official told reporters Saturday.

The official said the 50% consists of “largely combat power.”

"Clearly he’s gonna have to sustain them," the official said. "I just don’t have a breakdown by company or by unit of what he’s got. The farthest we’re willing to go comfortably is that he’s got more than 50% of his total assembled power now committed inside Ukraine."

but it is clearly a loose statement. It all depends on what Russia is setting out to achieve, but this could drag months long...

Thanks for the detailed responses, nice to have a nuanced discussion.
Yup myself, I imagine that in many other countries around the world that it would be impossible to do without facing repercussions. It's a crazy world alright.

Germany has dropped a block on lethal weapons connected to it being transferred, to allow 400 rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) launchers to be sent from the Netherlands to Ukraine.

According to Politico’s David Herszenhorn, it could represent a major shift in European military assistance.

Until now, Germany had a longstanding practice of not allowing lethal weapons it controlled or originally sold to be sent to war zones. Estonia had wanted to send weapons to Ukraine, but because Germany had sold them to Finland, who Estonia had bought them from, Germany had a veto.
