lol "islamist"

christians and muslims live side by side in russia btw. their places of worship next to or across the road from each other...

no issues with one another
Right, I mean... Enter Putlah? The evil of all evils.

I am sorry to any believer of the Muslim faith that had to read that, no ill intent meant and I completely understand that you have long been persecuted for your beliefs in this ridiculous way.

Then again, the Brits have never been known for their good taste... I mean take their long standing and insatiable appetite for tea.

Haven't seen a single video of them yet rolling into Ukraine.
Twitter and Reddit both seem to have the same reaction.

Got any earlier video?
I'll look, I saw a Russian soldier doing a selfie video with them in the backgroumd firing into Ukraine.

They got their Mig shot down by the Turks. They complained about it. They stopped flying near Turkey because the Turks would keep on shooting them down.
Fahk me you are a fountain of wisdom. An Su-24 is a Mig? I learn something daily...

Just prove me wrong then we can move on.
About what, you are wrong about so many things its hard to know where to start, how about the fact that you keep using Russia and the USSR as if they are interchangeable?

Firing into and rolling in are slightly different. Moving heavy artillery like that indicates a bigger plan. Normally you keep it safe behind well-protected lines.

And the US, UK militaries have not done anything?

The UK put 2 brand new aircraft carriers out to sea in the same time the decades old Russian one burnt out.

UK NLAW missiles are ripping up 40 year old Russian tanks.

The US has made its 3rd new long range strike bomber that will replace the B-2, while Russia hasn't fielded a single stealth bomber to date.

I'd love to see you walk into a bar in Camp Pendleton and call the US Marines there a bunch of wokists.
TBH, tanks are useless in urban warfare, they are far more just weapons of terror now. High yield portable munitions that can be guided or remotely controlled have negated them. Give Age of Tanks on Netflix a watch, a very interesting perspective of how tanks have gone the way of the way of the battleship as an instrument of war.

Oh ok. Thanks for the nondescript clarity.

So, about this...

Someone linked earlier to a dailymail article and within it was some interesting wording:

Double quoting:

"'I know that a lot of misinformation and rumors are being spread now. In particular, it is claimed that I have left Kyiv. I remain in the capital, I am staying with my people. My family is not a traitor, but a citizen of Ukraine,'"

To me, it's a little strange the way that he says that part in bold. He says I, I, then switches to My family.

It he truly cares about his family, he should ensure that they move safely to the West instead of using them as shields.

How is he using them as shields?

I don't know if you're being silly on purpose but NATO is a defensive pact
we've already covered Yugoslavia's first hand experience of that warped definition of "defense"

stop lying, there's f-all "defensive" about attacking another country, if there was then Russia is currently acting in defense

I'm sorry I work in a different field. It was a Russian plane. It was told to not fly over Turkish territory and it believed that it was invincible and Turkey took it out. They learned their lesson. But Turkey could have invoked article 5. Lucky for Russia, they didn't.

As you know it doesn't matter what design bureau created it, just that it had Russian markings.

Could be very wrong in this but I don't think we've seen any of the "modern" weapon platforms deployed and probably for good reason, i.e.: no need and to keep their capabilities under wraps.

Devils advocate here.

So already I told you that Serbia and not Yugoslavia was committing acts which got their leadership prosecuted for war crimes. NATO had to step in and stop them. But Serbia is not a nuclear power and Russia would never do what Serbia was doing. Russia has nothing to fear.

We need to cover this again.

What threat is NATO to Russia? Be real. There are fake threats to justify small boy dreams.
NATO has in the past attacked a non member when none of its members were threatened. Enough for you?

NATO members have in the past manufactured consent to attack a nation. Just think "weapons of mass destruction". What stops them from doing the same again, but with the added advantage of a wide border.

This is a terrible take, he has decided to not use executive privelege to save his own family, showing his people that he stands with them in this tragedy and you accuse him of using his own family as human shields... Jesus. :X3:

And yet it was the Americans that said they would invade ...

I wonder who was right.

You certainly weren't.

Besides saying something that is so obviously the truth, I have said I was not right and I am comfortable to admit. Did you miss that post? You said Trump would win and he did not, yet do I rub it in your face?

Oh, and here you were wrong about USA intel on Russians.

The problem is that it seems the guy who took an oath to defend the US, has done nothing about this and instead of rebuking Russia for it, has pushed for favourable concessions for Russia.

The US did the same with the Mujahadeen back in the 80's. They offered bounties for Russian troops.

UK security services have confirmed this story as well.

I think it brings up the question that if Trump did not see this intelligence, why is the CIA so concerned about showing him critical information like this? It is standard practice for the daily briefings to provide updates on casualties in Afghanistan and intel like this is significant.

So guess you are no better than I am, eh? Except you felt like getting petty about it because that's how you are.

But they where not obligated to as part of their treaty, and the fact that they where trying to prevent a genocide means nothing to you?
