No **** sherlock. Semantics again.

Please point to the post stating that it was a NATO invasion.
You are the one that mentioned the invasion of Iraq when we where talking about NATO, so what was the point of that exactly?

How is he using them as shields?
I will add both the questions in here as they basically repeated.
This is a terrible take, he has decided to not use executive privelege to save his own family, showing his people that he stands with them in this tragedy and you accuse him of using his own family as human shields... Jesus. :X3:
Man. Don't think for a second that I feel no pain when I see people die. I have a big heart, it always hurts regardless.

But to the point...

Why has he made this about his family and not the countless numerous amounts of people in his country that have lost their lives?

Why is he unable to admit that he himself is not a traitor given the Russian calls to topple his government?

If his family is at a security risk, the need to get the hell out of there so that he can focus on the best interests of his people?

He is there with the people to fight with them but in reality he is in hiding at some unknown location?

I see three ends to this Zelensky in Ukraine:

1.) Russia takes all of Ukraine, he leaves the country.
2.) Fullcrum is right and we see a split between the west and the east of Ukraine, in which case he will move to the western part of Ukraine.
3.) He is torn to shreds from the inside out, similar to the fate of Sadam or Gaddafi.

Watching the Putin up until now, I can't help but think that he has been saying their intention all along.

No one was listening, it seems to me that he is out to make a point of the hypocrisy that exists. I can imagine that he is looking for option 3.

But that's simply my own point of view.

Some special concern trolling here. Now an expert on Latvia. Has a Russian wife but he sure knows about the EU. Eurozone bad. Russia good. Russian footwraps are no 1. Forget Nike.
a Russian speaking wife who happens to be a Latvian national

I'd wager I know a hell of a lot more about Latvia than most on this forum
I've only been there in person once prior to the Euro and multiple times after, it's easy to see the decline

but hey it is "trolling" , god you're digging that hole

I suppose it is also "trolling" to point out:
- Eurozone membership meant Latvia has been limited to an EU quota on dairy production
- Latvia's main produce happens to be ... dairy
- Eurozone membership also came with the condition of limiting exports to Russia
- Latvia's main buyer happens to have been ... Russia

GDP got raped, standard of living has gone down fast enough to see it with your own eyes

then came the sanctions, oh lords the sanctions, Russian tourists no longer visit Latvia in any significant number ... take a wild guess which country gave Latvia the most tourists and tourist income up to that point ... yep, Russia

Did you read the article you selectively quoted?

Then you'll have to ask them why they're doing things which are putting them on the path to joining NATO.
You had exactly the same argument when I pointed out that my Japanese coworkers and friends didn't want the US troops there. Average people almost never want what their government wants. Not a single Japanese person I met, and I met loads, liked US troops being there and had loads of slur words for them.

It might be a hard concept for you but very few countries like being dictated to by the US/NATO.

Ahh ok. So you think this is an invasion with the intention of occupation. Makes sense now.

But no, if that was the case I am sure we would have seen a lot more force from Russia.

Edit: Feel free to quote me on this once all has gone down.
No.

Intention is to create a puppet state, which will be a de-facto vassal state.

Hence why Russia will essentially gain 4 NATO countries on its border.

The point is the US military has advanced far better, with far more superior technology while the Russian military has stayed relatively stagnant.

So that meme has no basis in fact.
Sure I agree with you if your point is around US conventional war capabilities.

If I posted a meme it was most likely a joke.

Narrow, you have a Russian wife, I understand. You must side with her. Be it. People think irrational things for the sake of their spouses.
I, for one, hope he pays the new petrol price we will see in April with a smile.

I'm taking my daughter to a Russian community thing tomorrow, one of the ladies there comes from the Donbass region

I can also promise you: they truly needed Russia to step in
The murders in the Donbass are not happening the same way farm murders are not happening.

I have to wonder why everyone is ignoring that, are they brainwashed simpletons unable to break out of their leftist narrative or do they just hate Russia in general?

It's funny, Russia is accused of reforming a communist empire while itself claiming to be fighting nazi's but at the same time Putin is "literally Hitler"..... the contradictions just don't stop coming.

Anything will be said to justify this rediculous team sport where the virtuous keyboard warrior picks the side of good against the side of evil..... which means there has to be a devil and an angel.... which conflicts with the reality of there only being devils involved. They are literally making angels of demons to suit their narrative and accusing the supposed other side of doing what they are doing.

To paraphrase Trump.
"Russia is not sending their best, no they're not."
They are still making huge gains.
Rich Piana would have been proud.

Going by all these NATO people sending equipment.
If the US wasnt already arming the insurgents that they end up fighting anyway.
NATO/US can never again use the "those guys are bad because they arm separatists" argument.
