Azov battalion and others.
Azov is linked to Igor Kolomoisky.
According to word on the net.

One special operational detachment who have been engaged in Donbass. I have previously elaborated in this thread that Azov members have established a political party, now known as the National Corps, how many seats does the National Corps have in parliament, wait, since you mentioned others, how many seats do the "Far-Right" or "Nationalist" associated groups have in Ukrainian parliament? The last time I checked, their support was dwindling, but I would like you to answer my question, because Putin seems to be in the mind that these Nationalist people are holding the Kiev and Kharkiv populace hostage as human shields, hence it enshrines him the right to siege and bombard the cities amongst other locations.

Now, to continue, does Donbass, the two disputed territories therein include Zhytompyr, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv, well to keep it simple does it include the Northern (central) and North Eastern Ukraine? Not to mention that the Azov Battalion is based in neither region, but in Eastern Ukraine, Donstsk Oblast (Donbass).

It is known that there is pro-Russian support in Southern and Eastern Ukraine, though we cannot test this animosity or public sentiment towards Ukraine and how it developed or regressed over eight years time. So, Ihor Kolomoyskyi, why is he important, again, does he still govern a Ukrainian province?

The only terrorists here, going by their own views, are the Russians. Their peacekeeping mandate to the two disputed regions was a precursor to invade Ukrainian sovereignty, and all pro-Putins chose to ignore this.

nah i dont argue with simpletons, google it.
You have 20-25% of what i said proven correct.

The testbook response of an idiot... "just Google it."

You see. You don't have schit, and are talking straight out your arse, otherwise you'd simply post the required proof and avoid this seemingly unnecessary confrontation, like Vorasta did by actually providing me what I asked for instead of the dumb response of "do your own research" and some useless strawman argument.

I get your point but this wasn't just sensationalism , it was just plain false. Remember that in those days you didn't have social media or the internet to show that it wasn't true and coming from the BBC that was taken as fact.
Back then, fake and orgasm were used together ............. news climbed on the band wagon and that was the end of that. :)

Testbook eh ?
Surely you mean textbook ?

Right.

20-25% is already proven correct.
Take my word for it so long.

Woah, EU is providing fighter jets to Ukraine.

Big news.

Any link, to do that I will also need to send pilots, and I doubt they will be able to train pilots in a week or a month. It is not like the movies, where pilots can magically pilot any fighter jet.

Already posted up above and they are sending them soviet mig 29s it seems. No training required as the Ukrainians are already familiar with them.

Eish ..............
Over 116 billionaires have lost more than $126 billion since Russia invaded Ukraine on February 16, according to a Forbes report.

Of that, an estimated $71 billion was wiped out on Thursday, after Russia’s Moex index closed down 33% and the ruble plunged to a record low against the dollar, the report mentioned.

The report further mentioned that at least five of the billionaires at the Kremlin on Thursday -- Alekperov, Mikhelson, Mordashov, Potanin and Kerimov -- were among the day’s biggest billionaire losers. Altogether, at least 11 Russian billionaires lost $1 billion or more each on Thursday.

Earlier this week, the British government sanctioned many billionaires, including Putin’s former son-in-law (and former billionaire) Kirill Shamalov. Following Russian strikes on Ukraine, it also announced an asset freeze of Russia’s banks, and a ban on Russian nationals from holding more than $66,000 (50,000 pounds) in a UK bank account, the report said.

Well yeah, probably the same or similar.
Generally speaking these sort of neo nazi guys dont give out their home address and wait to be drone fodder.
They also dont tend to flourish unless the government allows it.
It's pretty much the same in principle as I see it. The source of the violence to "your side" is over the border being harboured by a "sovereign country".... so after you realize asking nicely does buggerall you invade and try and if not eradicate the source of the problem your own damn self at least break it's ability to harm "your side" or teach it better manners.

Quoting from your post: "We are carrying out a special military operation against nationalists to protect the people of Donbass"

Is there any credence to the claim, anything at all that is credible?

Hmm, before Euromaidan and the revolution they had a pro-Russia government in place, after this they had a pro-EU government in place.

Given the makeup of the Ukrainian population, I would certainly say that not everyone was happy with this, the South Eastern areas of Ukraine are largely Russian or Ukrainian-Russian.

The discontent with the overthrow of Yanucovych (in my opinion) had lead in part to the annexation of Crimea which lead to the protests and the separatist groups that formed in Donetsk and Luhansk (Donbass) which is where Yanukovych was from, his support base. I feel like these areas were likely wanting to follow in the same route as Crimea or atleast have an opportunity to have their own say in the way that things progressed. This lead to the war in Donbass as we have seen it since 2014.

During the start of this war, there formed such volunteer groups such as: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Azov_Battalion

The Gaurdian did an article in 2014 which adds more context to their activities and provides one members account of involvement. It also mentions that they had been doing much of the frontline fighting in Ukraine's war with pro-Russia separatists: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/sep/10/azov-far-right-fighters-ukraine-neo-nazis

They are cited by the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights as being connected to war crimes such as mass looting, unlawful detention, torture, rape and other forms of sexual violence which you can read about in the in their reports:

www.ohchr.org/Documents/Countries/UA/Ukraine_13th_HRMMU_Report_3March2016.pdf
www.ohchr.org/Documents/Countries/UA/Ukraine_14th_HRMMU_Report.pdf

There are numerous articles that cite members of this group having participated in the fighting against the Russian separatists of the Donbass region right up till the invasion of Ukraine by Russia as we see it today.

How was that war actually going though?

Citing the most recently available report by the UN on civillian casualties of the war and their stats from 2018-2021:

View attachment 1255968
Any idea which side of the conflict has been suffering the most civilian casualties? What types of things have caused these deaths?

From 1 January to 31 December 2021, OHCHR recorded 44 civilian casualties caused by active hostilities (shelling, SALW fire and UAV strikes): seven killed (six men and one woman) and 37 injured (26 men, nine women, one boy and one girl), a 37.1 per cent decrease compared with 2020 (eight killed and 62 injured).

You can read more about it in the UN report here:

Are the people of Donbass under threat by nationalist groups? I can't say for sure but I do know that Azov is not the only group that exists in Ukraine with an affinity towards nationalism. See my previous post and personal experience having talked with someone who had lived in the region since childhood:

I will cite the above wikipedia article:

In 2018, a provision in an appropriations bill passed by the U.S. Congress blocked military aid to Azov on the grounds of its white supremacist ideology; in 2015, a similar ban on aid to the group was overturned by the Congress.

Are they being supported by the West? I am not sure, but people have been asking questions about this too:

Is there even a sliver of credence to the claim, just a tiny one?

Will drop some pictures from the peaceful Euromaidan protests for illustration:

You know Russia has their own groups like this? It's not a Ukraine only thing.

BRUSSELS—European Union member countries will supply Ukraine with jet fighters, EU foreign-policy chief Josep Borrell said Sunday.
Mr. Borrell said Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has asked for jet fighters that his country’s air force can operate. Those planes would be Soviet-built models, mainly MiG and Sukhoi jets.
Some current EU members that were once part of the USSR-led Warsaw Pact still fly such planes or have old ones parked.
Wall Street Journal running this news too.

All this time we were told Nazis bad.
The entire world is seemingly jumping to their defense.
So confusing.
Is it still illegal to own Nazi symbols and stuff ?
Do Nazi sympathizer groups all get free arms now or what ?
Maybe just Ukraine ones......i dunno.
