There has been proof posted of Nazis in Russia too, just because a country has Nazis doesn't mean that are a pervasive presence.

So disappointed in you Cray. Not only do you seem to not know about Ukrainian history, you failed to read or watch any of the very good content in this thread.

In 20 years when these extremists are a thread like ISIS or Al-Qaeda, everyone is going to blame the Right. Meanwhile countries like the USA is cavorting with these people and arming them. I mean, what can go wrong. Let's just all sit back and pretend there is nothing wrong with this because Putin is committing some of the worst acts since WW2.

That's not how war works.

Civilians are not soldiers, nor are they afforded the power to punish people on nationality alone.

A video doing the rounds of a refueling station refusing to refuel a russian ship - when the ship is a cargo ship and has nothing to do with the war that is currently happening. The result is that innocent people will be stranded at sea with limited supplies for what a dictator decided. The cargo ship was already underway before the war even started

Yeah - it must be a very confusing time for you. Not knowing who is right or wrong, so defaulting to Trumpian views. Try thinking for yourself for a change.

I have said multiple times in this thread what Putin is doing is wrong and he deserves severe military pushback because of his actions in Ukraine. The only way to stomp out these people is by using force. Sanctions and diplomacy do not work as history has shown us. At the same time, the USA should not be arming the far right. Seems like you are the one that cannot think for yourself, or hold two thoughts in your head at the same time.

Or the Right in America? Very fine people on both side. Honk honk.

You are also the last person to lecture Cray, your experience on calling events is lacking, last week Russia was just "rattling sabres" according to you.

I can't confirm whether this is true or not, but it is something I would absolutely expect the Ruskies to do.

If the West wanted a way to make Russia cr@p its pants, they would say they are de-gasifying Europe and will be building thousands of 77Mw reactors all over the place.

And for the haters, the technology is pretty much ready.

Just to point out this sort of activity in promoting one product or service by snubbing or negatively portraying direct competing alternatives is fairly common, the usa call it lobbying. But yes in this case it would seem it is for the benefit of promoting russian supplied gas.

Putin would take that as a win.
I like to amuse myself with thinking the real reason a handful of young Russians are protesting the war is that pornhub went down for them and this makes them very angry.

I agreed that Ukraine has a neo-nazis, it's quite a stretch to go from that to Isis or Al-Qaeda like terrorism.

And yes, I think the problem is worth focusing on, just not sure it's useful to focus on it in the middle of a war where all Ukrainians are getting attacked.

I wonder sometimes why people don't seem to understand how reactive statements like this actually prove the points they seem to think they are refuting.....

He is big mad because I pointed out he seemed perfectly fine with violence against people because of their nationality.

He is very, very fragile.

Or he's a pathetic human being that tries to anger people on purpose for entertainment because his life is so devoid of real meaning.....

We can only speculate.

Whilst I agree, the difference in my post before is that there have indeed been neo-Nazi affiliated groups fighting against Russian people within the war of Donbass. Even the UN had declared their actions as war crimes. They didn't disappear, they have been involved in the border conflict all along.

They simply care nothing about human life, as is evidenced by the bulge in the separatist sides civilian deaths. Many children have died in this senseless conflict, I saw absolutely no-one complain about this up until now.

Whilst I also do not condone the justification in waging a war against others (revenge), to deny that this exists would be to blatantly sit on one side of the fence.

There is definitely a difference between a belief in nationalist ideals and actually going out and committing the murder and rape of innocent civilians.

Firing a nuke would immediately seal Russia's fate. In today's age there is no tactical, nor strategical use to firing of nukes other than mutual destruction.

So it wouldn't be one warhead, it would probably be all the warheads at once.

I don't know, this isn't another Cuban missile crisis, or ww2, it is likely going to be a war on a scale of days, You can get an invasion force half way across the world in a couple of hours. US still has a whole fleet of b52 bombers round about 76 bombers that can travel 14k km. So it isn't a war of who is right, but rather of who is left.
