Problem is a nuke is not really a precise weapon. Neverminded the AOE and immediate damage, the fallout is a issue and those countries are all closely packed.... hence the fear around Chernobyl.

It's not a surgical strike precision weapon like a laser guided missile, but icbms are accurate for their intended use in targeting and destroying large but specific swathes of land for a given radius, such as a city. Fall out is an iffy subject, if a nuke was detonated in international waters but close to a country, does the uncontrollable fall out constitute a declaration of war? It's same the iffy question as the arms supply to ukraine, is the eu bloc considered to be at war with russia if their membes are directly and openly supplying arms to ukraine?

So the big thing about the Sweden AT-4 and German via Nederland RPG's is that they work better at killing tanks in an urban environment over the NLAW's and Javelins since they are cheaper and smaller.

Yeah, You don't have to blow the turret off a tank to kill it, blowing the tracks off works just as well.

Russia’s defence ministry appeals to Kyiv’s residents to ‘leave the city’

Russia’s defence ministry has appealed to Ukrainian civilians to leave the capital, Kyiv, as Moscow presses ahead with its offensive.

“We are appealing to Kyiv’s population to leave the city on a certain road that we can guarantee safe passage, I want to reiterate that Russian troops are only hitting military targets,” ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said in a televised address.

Looks like they are getting desperate, resorting now to these tactics as their main strike did not get the results they had hoped for.
I wonder how the world will react if we see a TOS-1 go off in a civilian area since the only bigger bang is nuclear.

Of course but its the collateral damage I'm talking about. So say one is used on a non NATO country, NATO may still have to get involved as they will be facing fallout and associated repercussions whereas a conventional weapon, no matter how locally devastating, will not.

The question must be what has happened to the vaunted Russian air defence systems, I mean even in this thread some of the PutinBots were spouting off about how they would knock down all Ukrainian aircraft and give Russia total air superiority.

And yet another drone strike...

It is something I bring up in every thread where Russian and Chinese wunderwaffe are brought up; they've never been properly tested. You can be building hundreds of new ships; role out your T-14 dripping in tech and have all the fancy missile systems in the world, but it means nothing until they have seen actual combat and prove themselves.

Azeri drones made short work of Armenian S-300 batteries in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and even in Syria, the Syrians were not impressed with the performance of the S-300. The S-400 is an even less known quantity.

Nice condescension there

Since saying that Putin's "cleanse Ukraine of the Nazis" justification for the invasion is stupid, I got accused of supporting Nazis. Thus I respond to those accusations with the question of why these accusers are trying to defend Putin's justification so badly by hammering on Putin's dumb justifications even tho they aren't really true...? Also mocked some "dom vrae/antwoorde" from some people...

*facepalm*

Your own logic was being used against you. Yet you still keep on with the same flawed logic.

I wonder what'll happen if Ukraine does join EU tho?
From my perspective that depends entirely on whether Putin is still alive or not.
He's 69 after all. Not exactly the spring chicken.
Once he's gone, unless there's another cold war relic in power after him, Russia won't give a damn one way or the other I reckon.
