Errrrmmm.. Cause it's in Europe. Has more to do with geographics instead of demographics.
i disagree... its has more to do with demographics...... some countries are seen as not worthy of the publicity, whereas others are...

what about FIFA slapping "political statements" with fines, but this time around they quiet? again.. double standards...

It is an attempt to excuse Putin's actions, but...

You know what my guy, whatever. I have legit been arguing with you all day, and I'm honestly done with this argument or whatever the hell this is. We are clearly not going to find a middle ground, so...

GG WP m8

Your concept of middle ground is your way or no way.

You are the one that keeps insisting that unpacking the Nazi element in Ukraine is an excuse for Putin's actions - when no one is saying that. There is zero justification for this level of violence. And then you balk when the same logic is applied to you.

Priceless.

I tend to avoid the toxic threads on MyBB hence I haven't posted in here. But I'll say what's going on is very delicate. Russia unilaterally redrawing borders in Eastern Ukraine and their subsequent invasion is wholly unacceptable and Putin isn't covering himself in glory. But he has taken advantage of some weak Western leadership. I get that he's afraid of Ukraine joining NATO but he can't dictate their foreign policy for them or what direction they want to align themselves with, even without joining NATO. And this narrative of "de-Nazifying" Ukraine is an utter load of rubbish. I've just yet to see a convincing argument for justifying this invasion (spoiler alert: their isn't) from a Russian apologist. South Africa is full of these apologists pushing their double standards.

So you stay out of toxic threads and then come into them to be kinda toxic?

None of which need to be based in the Ukraine to be effective against Moscow. The US has more weapons they can launch from closest ocean than from land bases in the Ukraine. The nuclear capable Tomahawk is the shortest range one they have and it is a USN weapon. So this hoopla about nuclear weapons in Ukraine doesn't really make sense.

Of course & Russia also no doubt but don't you think the argument comes down to distance?
Not necessarily nukes we taking about here either.
Anything gets fired from 1000km away is going to be easier to counter than something fired from 500km away no?

According to Dave's reliable twitter sources I've come to the conclusion that the Russian Army have done nothing wrong since the invasion ( driving around like UN peace keepers ) and the Ukrainians has wiped everything before them.

Do you believe there is any truth to the story that Putin wants to De-Nazify Ukraine? If not then the Nazi problems within Ukraine really have no place in this thread except to be exposed as a BS reason used by Putin to justify his actions.

I have been going through local, but popular, social media accounts. The hypocrisy is surreal. Russia's actions may have unleashed some bad social predicaments by varying degrees, or how can I say, it is bad and can now potentially become worse.

You forget, they were designed for long distance so there are factors and tolerances in play as well as probably arming delays etc.
