Assuming that the state is full of nazis...? And not what putin calls nazis out of political expedience.
Various links can describe various militia employed by Ukrainian government as Nazi whichever way.
No matter how you slice that cake its got an antisemitic filling.

On Zelensky, he is largely a media made cult of personality with lots of foreign money, not to mention that he won an election by banning the opposition press and running of an ultra nationalist playbook. For the last 8 years he has been shelling the Russian speaking minority

Sorry, but what shìt are you talking?

1. Zelensky has only been president since 2019

2. As he wasn't president before the election he couldn't ban anyone.

Various links can describe pretty much any situation you like. I find it hard to believe a Jewish president will tolerate nazis in his government though. I think you may well have kool aid poisoning...

Wtf are you on about? I was talking about the chances of an agreement between Russia and Ukraine. There's no common ground.
I truly believe, the people of Ukraine do not want a war as much as you do. I hope that there can be some kind of agreement that is made so that people no longer have to flee their homes in such a way.

On a side note I doubt the ruble is going to be permanently at such a low level unless russia goes boom, so the current fall of the ruble is like shorting a stock, buying rubles now and waiting for it to improve when this blows over could net you a tidy profit.

Second side note, it seems countries in future are likely to ensure they have sufficient foreign currency and alternative financial systems in place before conducting open warfare.
May I interest future investors in VBS?

They don't want a war and they don't want to lose their country either.
I certainly don't want a war either. You seem to jump to a lot of conclusions.

however, they applied through the special procedure program, hence the ascension criteria, or otherwise Copenhagen criteria won't immediately apply. Basically, they applied to become a potential candidate, though only an option available to the Western Balkans, Ukraine has since 2020 had a special economic cooperation with the Western Balkans hence the option to become a potential EU candidate has been made available to them.

Our own SA govt is complicit in this war with their failure to unequivocally denounce it.

Its ok for Russia to attack sovereign states, just not anybody else.

Henry Kissinger in 2014,

For the West, the demonization of Vladimir Putin is not a policy; it is an alibi for the absence of one.

1. Ukraine should have the right to choose freely its economic and political associations, including with Europe.

2. Ukraine should not join NATO, a position I took seven years ago, when it last came up.

3. Ukraine should be free to create any government compatible with the expressed will of its people. Wise Ukrainian leaders would then opt for a policy of reconciliation between the various parts of their country. Internationally, they should pursue a posture comparable to that of Finland. That nation leaves no doubt about its fierce independence and cooperates with the West in most fields but carefully avoids institutional hostility toward Russia.

4. It is incompatible with the rules of the existing world order for Russia to annex Crimea. But it should be possible to put Crimea’s relationship to Ukraine on a less fraught basis. To that end, Russia would recognize Ukraine’s sovereignty over Crimea. Ukraine should reinforce Crimea’s autonomy in elections held in the presence of international observers. The process would include removing any ambiguities about the status of the Black Sea Fleet at Sevastopol.

International Criminal Court opens investigation into Russian invasion of Ukraine

The International Criminal Court in the Hague, Netherlands, will open an investigation into Russia’s invasion of Ukraine as “rapidly as possible,” ICC Prosecutor Karim A.A. Khan said in a statement Monday.

Following a preliminary examination into the situation, Khan said he confirmed that there is a reasonable basis to “believe that both alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity have been committed in Ukraine.”

Russia's current regime will never admit to war crimes.

This actually seems unrelated to the current events, though it could have expedited the US's decision,

US has asked 12 Russian UN diplomats to leave the country, Deputy Ambassador confirms

The United States has asked 12 Russian United Nations diplomats to leave the country due to their alleged engagement in “activities that were not in accordance with their responsibilities and obligations as diplomats,” Ambassador Richard Mills, Deputy Representative of the United States to the United Nations, said during a UN Security Council meeting Monday afternoon.

Russian Ambassador to the UN Vassily Nebenzia responded by saying Mills’ explanation of the expulsions was “not satisfactory.”
