What trophy ? That he is responsible for the northern hemisphere glowing in the dark ?

Putin just has to drop one nuke and Moscow will end up like Berlin with NATO flags flying all over Kremlin. He does not want that and I'm sure neither do Russians.

Agreed, it’s a tough place to be for Putin right now. He can take Kyiv and possibly kill Zelensky and finish this in 3-6 months, then sit with the arduous task of managing it for years to come.

The propaganda machine however is pushing Nato to get involved. I think it will happen. It will play into Putins hands. He can come out of this with some sort of trophy if he takes on Nato.

Kyiv falling is inevitable.

Killing Zelenskyy will be stupid because of the profile and aura that has been created around him. Rather leave him alive and ''humiliate'' him by getting your way through negotiations. Then Putin can go back home and sell whatever sh*t he wants to to his people. ''See, I'm strong man. I took Crimea; I took Kyiv; I liberated the Donbas and made the western puppet Zelenskyy concede to my demands''.

I don't think Putin would survive (as a leader) taking on NATO. The US and UK alone would be too much to handle militarily, now throw in essentially the entirety of the west (logistics, supplies, financing, etc) behind them and they won't survive a confrontation.

Nukes are off the table. If Putin uses nukes he condemns Russia in the process.

The Ukrainian parliament voted for his removal, all this talk of a coup ignores that he lost the support of his own government,

You're ignoring the role of the snipers and the killings that took place.

The ultranationalist government took over largely thanks to the US pumping money into the region.

Ukraine is at the heart of Russia's geopolitical concerns, it's where Hitler and Napoleon (technically also Belarus) almost destroyed Russia. Poland also had historical wars in that region

With that history in mind, do you not think that the Russian psychology might react themselves if they see weapons and soldiers there?
Russian psychology or Putin psychology? I reckon most Russians would respect the fact that 92% of voters approved the independence of Ukraine in 1991.

The Russian anti west propaganda machine has been going on for years now, they waiting to take on the west. It will be stupid to give them a chance to go for nato or nato allied country.
They pussy footing around Ukraine these past few days.
I think nato is their real target.

And you are ignoring that the Ukrainian parliament voted to kick him out, irrespective of what was happening in the streets -are you for democracy or not?

Not mentioning that he left the country before the impeachment vote, just to make sure it is not 'legal procedure'
Ukranians were protesting for months , mostly peacefully until things heated up.

People who fell for the MAGA propaganda are also falling for the Putin propaganda

Opposite actually, many if the US far right kids spent time being trained in the Ukraine. Neo nazi solidarity and all that.

I never supported Trump and thought that Maga was ridiculous.

Dont be so sure about that. We are dealing with a psycho here. Ukraine is not his main target anyways. He is unning for NATO and EU.
