so what are the chances this entire situation could end up in a Nuke war?
I mean USA and Russia have never seen Eye to eye, and this just feels like a continuation of old unresolved rivalries.
Chances close to 0%. Russia wants territory and not nuclear wasteland.

Nukes is that thing you want to use distantly when no one will retaliate.

Such an opening is nowhere in sight atm.

so most of Asia isnt enough for the greedy Russians?
why the Ukraine? or is it similar to How Germany wanted Austria in between the Wars.
Ukraine has something like 25% of global most fertile land or something.... it's a strategic area.

My POV: Nil. Despite the rampant craziness, neither side is insane enough to escalate into a nuclear war over what is essentially a "territorial dispute".

so South africa could invade Zim, because its the Most fertile Land in Africa,
does not mean we Decide to do it. even if Zuma or Malema wake up one day and decide on it.

War is big money for the US government. Biden and the democrats collapsed the economy and they are in dire need of money.

Hard to see ain't it, considering we are here less than 6 month's after they bailed out of Afghanistan.

If Apartheid evolved into an expansionist empire... it would not have been out of the question.

The pretext being stabilizing the borders.

No they didn't, already shown to be incorrect earlier in the thread.

No offense meant in what I had said as it was not directed at you. simply an observation relating to how the US always seems to be a victim and helpless against these foreign interventions within their electoral system.
It isn't though. In their election before last there was ample evidence of Russia getting a hook in their elections through social media however. A phenomenon the world has not quite gotten to grips with. For all that it is just the same old thing, but over a medium that turbo charges it.
Historically that kind of influence has flowed from the US to less developed nations. From Russia as well. Which is by no means a wonderful thing. Yet is nothing new in the world.
The stakes are quite a bit higher when one nuclear super power does it to another nuclear super power though.
I can't help but feel it was super unwise. Cutting to the heart like that.

The Biden regime is 100% a carbon copy of the ANC regime. Everything they touch turns to s**t. Very common trait in Socialist governments. Biden will never get a win.

The similarities in the Biden regime since 2021 and South Africa is shockingly the same. One does not need to be a scientist to see it and see the demise of the USA coming on real fast.

so is this the solution? "manufacture" a crisis to make him look good,
pose for a few photos on the phone to Putin, just like Chamberlin did with Hitler back in the 1930's

is this what diplomacy is all about? acting and theatrics, and NOT actually doing anything.

I can come to no other conclusion that the destruction of SA is on purpose.... only they are frustrated it's not happening faster and trying to rush it.

Same for murica, both countries are being forcibly dismantled from the top down.
