I'm guessing all those with senior roles or promoters of MTI will not be sleeping very easily tonight. Pretty sure Johann will have no choice but to make a deal with US authorities and provide details of co-conspirators in exchange for leniency.
 
Let's not forget he is in a South American prison and probably has access to a lot of BTC.
How this plays out is anyone's guess.
