I just don't get mass shootings.
It doesn't register for me.
We weren't brought up to think that way IMHO.

The US is now indeed the 'Home of the Brave' as you'd need to be on some serious courage pills to live there...

Unfortunately, just like South Africa, socialism and communism killed America. The country is overrun by lawlesness, violence, protests, murders, crazy ass politicians, president and vice president, rising inflation, a falling economy, rising unemployment, taking away rights from law enforcement, attempts to disarm the public, trying to legitimize voter fraud, racial hatred promoted by the government, trying to tax the taxpayers to death, things are just a mess over there currently.

Work related:
A local CBS station reports that the shots broke out during an employee meeting for rail workers. Just before the shooting, a fire broke out at a home belonging to a Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) employee, CBS reports.

According to the LA Times, the suspect may have set his home on fire before embarking on the rampage, which authorities are looking into but have not confirmed.

Yeah, the rising unemployment is a huge worry here. Pretty much like everything else you said.

All empires fade, I'm just surprised how fast the sun is setting on this one.

Let's face it, America has always had nutters in various shapes and forms. The serial killer brigade had kids who became the school shooter crowd who are now white collar workers.

I blame Vietnam.

We likely have more car accident deaths in a month per 1000 ppl than they have from mass shootings. And we make zero fuss about that. Statistically, the US is just fine.

This is a bit off topic, but seeing as you seem to be such an expert... what happened with your dire predictions about Paul O'Sullivan from some time back?
