US defence budget

interesting article on news 24- America's defence budget for 2007 is $447.6 billion. If you divide that amount by 2006 and again by 365 it works out to $610 497 a DAY EVERY day since 0 A.D. (or $7 EVERY SECOND!). This budget is for 2007 alone. And to think millions of people live on less that $1 a day....makes u think doesn't it?
