DavidFreeman has already analysed all the data.Data analysis takes time. Maybe they're just buying time for the data nerds to investigate?

Biden should have higher standards than Trump for public positions, agree?
And I'm pretty sure Trump's nominations for public positions were raised - especially by Democrats - with regards to 'fit for purpose'.
No dude, they should have the same *HIGH* standards. That should be the expectation of the office no matter who is there. WTF is wrong with you that you think like this and think that this is ok?
At some point you do realise that what we're talking about isn't just a game? What is at stake is actual government effectiveness and the wasting or not wasting of millions of taxpayer dollars.
One would hope so - sadly there are no saints in politics (or life for that matter - even Mother Theresa had her flaws and critics)
After Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi's suspension of civil liberties in 1975 (The Emergency), Mother Teresa said: "People are happier. There are more jobs. There are no strikes." These approving comments were seen as a result of the friendship between Teresa and the Congress Party. Mother Teresa's comments were criticised by some outside India within the Catholic media.[22]
Dissonance-wissonance.WTF, why are the standards different? The cognitive dissonance here is ridiculous.
No, my expectations for Trump's picks were lower than for other US presidents simply because his overwhelming priority is loyalty rather than competence.
except that you didn't question that nominees 'competence', you questioned 'character' - those are two very different things (as you well recognise based on your own words above)*shrugs*
No, my expectations for Trump's picks were lower than for other US presidents simply because his overwhelming priority is loyalty rather than competence. Just like I have low expectations for the ANC, who act like most other African parties on the continent that prize loyalty over any other characteristic. Many in the SA media like to think of a "good" and "bad" ANC, giving in to the debilitating notion that the ANC has the sole right to run SA...BS. The only way SA can get fixed is not voting for either the ANC or the EFF.
As Biden campaigned on going back to the pre-Trump era and especially on appointing 'competent' people, then I will hold Biden to a higher standard.
Well, yes, but she didn't assault or murder anyone. She wrote a letter in support of someone who had been a friend for 30 years and she had never seen that side of him. She condemned the crimes committed by Mason and later clarified that her support for Mason was based on the person she knew for almost 30 years, writing that "the person who committed these crimes is not the Lance Mason familiar to me." That could happen to any of us, it's not really a reflection of anything other than that she gave a friend a second chance - which she maybe shouldn't have done but it's not really enough to condemn her for, IMO. I mean, I don't know enough about her to support her either, but if she is to be criticized let it be on something really worth being critical of.
The humble comma would be your friend here, it would help your sentence make sense.Ah the Dem supporters are gonna go all hypocrite and be all over their leader's picks saying why they are good to go no matter what.
Support for the emergency was the least of her flaws. Her Calcutta mission took millions of dollars in donations and there is nothing to show except abject poverty and probably millions of converts. She was a thoroughly despicable person masquerading as a saint. That woman wasn't just flawed, she was evil.

You are welcome.
Not necessarily, no. I'm not going to condemn a pick for no reason either though, as you will (going all hypocrite).Ah the Dem supporters are gonna go all hypocrite and be all over their leader's picks saying why they are good to go no matter what.
Trumptards make sense, .........LOL.The humble comma would be your friend here, it would help your sentence make sense.

"Comma" starts with the same three letters as "Commie" and sounds similar too.The humble comma would be your friend here, it would help your sentence make sense.

I don't have issue with that. Will still be an improvement over sons best friends golf caddy. That bar has been set extremely low. Any improvement at all is still an improvement.Ah the Dem supporters are gonna go all hypocrite and be all over their leader's picks saying why they are good to go no matter what.

The Trumpist are gonna go all hypocritical and nitpick over issues they didn't really care about before. Like competence and moral values
Yeah, if only they hadn't dropped the pass mark to 30%....Nothing like the ol' "grammar dodge" to get out of jail.
