Why if I may ask? I mean if the remote options were reasonably trustable?
I'd probably have a somewhat irrational suspicion about the post office not delivering on time or perhaps writing the signature which might be a bit different than the one the election administrators have on file. Much more admin required for a postal vote.

‘Trump is Using Us’: Christian Republican Group Warns People Not to Vote For Trump in 2020 Election

A group of Republicans is urging Christians and Republicans to not re-elect Trump in the 2020 presidential election.

According to the Pew Research Center survey in July, White evangelical approval of Trump has slipped, but 8 in 10 say they would still vote for him.

The recent release ad, entitled “Trump is Using Us,” features six Republican voters who talk about how Trump uses and manipulates Christians.

In the minute-long video posted on the Republican Voters Against Trump YouTube channel, the group explains that the president doesn’t reflect Christianity or values based on his words and actions.

One major highlight of the video was the comments Trump made following a violent white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, in 2017. At the time, he said there were “very fine people on both sides” when talking about protesters and rally-goers.

They also brought up Trump retweeting a man shouting “white power!” on his Twitter page.

Suspicion of the post office is by design.

You know this.

Besides, Ronna McDaniel, Stephanie Grisham, Kayleigh McEnany, Bill Stepien, Michael Glassner, Jenna Ellis, Nick Ayers, Brad Parscale, Alex Azar, Sonny Perdue, Mark Esper, Betsy DeVos, Larry Kudlow, Wilbur Ross, Kellyanne Conway, Bill Barr, Karen and Mike Pence, Ivanka and Jared, and Melania and Donnie himself all vote by mail...

... You should be golden.

The voices in the Orange Dotard's head are still there ....

Donald Trump claims Anthony Fauci 'wrong' about cause of Covid-19 surge
President again contradicts his own health expert after doctor highlights troubled US response to virus

Donald Trump launched an extraordinary attack on his own top infectious disease expert, Dr Anthony Fauci, arguing against the doctor’s claim that high rates of infection in the US stem from a less aggressive reaction to the virus in terms of economic shutdowns and stay-at-home orders.

“Wrong!” countered the president as he retweeted a video of Fauci making the point in recent congressional testimony.

Fauci had explained that differentiations between surging US infections and a sharp decrease seen across Europe could be explained by the different reactions to the virus. Fauci said most European countries shut their economies down by 95%, while the US only shut down its economy by half.

Trump countered: “We have more cases because we have tested far more than any other country, 60,000,000. If we tested less, there would be less cases. How did Italy, France & Spain do? Now Europe sadly has flare ups. Most of our governors worked hard & smart. We will come back STRONG!”

But Fauci’s point accurately describes the US situation. While some states followed Centers for Disease Control guidelines when they started to re-open, many did not, leading to a surge in infections in many southern and western states, Fauci explained.

“There are some states that did it very well, there are some states that did not,” he said, adding that many were doing better now thanks to improved testing.

“Let’s be very clear: this is not normal & we should not treat it as normal for a president to be publicly attacking his own top government adviser on infectious diseases,” said the commentator and broadcaster Mehdi Hasan.

Could this anti-Trump Republican group take down the president?
Savage attack ads from a well-funded group of dissident Republicans are aiming to sway a key sliver of opinion in swing states

Expecting it will turn into another embarrassment.

GOP Bans Reporters From Trump Nomination After Convention Controversies

The Republican Party is set to ban reporters from reporting on Donald Trump’s official nomination at the Republican Convention.

“When Republicans renominate Donald Trump for president in Charlotte, N.C., on Aug. 24, journalists won’t be on hand to witness it, a convention spokesperson,” the Arkansas Democrat Gazette reported.

Hiding the nomination in this fashion is unprecedented in modern history for both the Democratic and Republican parties, who traditionally have reporters in the room to freely report on the party convention and official nomination.

“This is an ill-advised decision that the @GOP @GOPconvention should reconsider,” wrote AP reporter Zeke Miller, who serves as president of the White House Correspondents’ Association. “The nomination of a major party presidential candidate is very much the business of the American people.”

The unusual decision occurs after a series of embarrassing missteps related to convention planning.

Or this?

Or this?

Ronna and Mitch finally got around to opening the polling package someone left on their desks.

Should Democrats really be pushing mail-in voting so hard to their supporters? Rather encourage early in-person voting, which happens in a number of states.

Key message: all swing states besides North Carolina only accept mail-in ballots that arrive on or before election day.

This may seem like Trumpian bluster. But it’s much more alarming in light of an important new exposé in The Post that reports on big backlogs in mail delivery due to “cost-cutting” by the new head of the U.S. Postal Service — who, by spectacular coincidence, just happens to be a top Trump fundraiser.

And here’s an additional reason for alarm that needs more attention: The impact of those delays could be dramatically exacerbated by state laws that invalidate ballots that are mailed before Election Day but arrive after Election Day.
Guess which key presidential swing states have such provisions invalidating ballots that arrive after Election Day?

All of them do, with the exception of North Carolina.

“In states where ballots won’t count if they are received after Election Day, the impact could be devastating," Vanita Gupta, the CEO of the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, told me, adding that this could “result in potentially hundreds of thousands of ballots getting rejected.”

“The delays are going to be unpredictable with the cuts being made on the postal service,” Gupta continued. “That impact could turn a swing state completely.”

Worth noting that Trump's efforts to destroy the post office have been coming a long time. He installed a crony to lead it who will benefit a lot from it going under.

And how is this anti-democratic schit from Trump not making your blood boil, Chris? Seriously...
