Yeah because Trump is true working class ...
Not at all like the people Chris was criticising.

Well reading his background on Wikipedia, he could well have come from a working-class background. Born in Queens with a Scottish mother and a father from the Bronx... but then he went to a private boarding school for high-school, so perhaps not.

It is simple.

Find me more than 2 trump supporters on this forum who are not
1. Confederate flag supporters
2. Apartheid flag supporters
3. White Christians of the the 6000 year old earth + flat earth kind
You got a quick reaction. Must have hit a nerve
LOL

There's a few more traits, but you nailed the short list, and triggered the poorly educated, blue eyed, redneck Trumptards.

Question

Do the "Trump Supporters" (considering we're mostly in SA and can't actually support him) actually like him or is it more a case of annoying/sticking it to "the left"? You know, the same way girls with parental issues date the guy their parents hate just to piss them off.
Trump is kryptonite to neocons. He has undoubtedly improved the GOP. I'll take redneck populists over neocons any day of the week.

There are many reasons to like Trump, however, I would say that I can't really call myself a supporter of his ever since he took out Soleimani, so maybe I am disqualified from your question. But the fact that Trump annoys certain kinds of lefties, considering the fact that he's basically a blue dog Democrat with a crude mouth, is definitely a bonus.

E Pluribus Unum — out of many, one.
For over 200 years, Americans have worked together to build a more perfect union and overcome the forces of hatred, fear, and oppression.

We inherited the responsibility to protect freedom and liberty.

That’s why we stand united to fight against Donald Trump.

Trump has sown hatred and fear. He cares more about himself than our country. But we are a nation of people who rise to meet exceptional challenges.
  • We didn’t let aggression deter us in World War II.
  • We didn’t let Al-Qaeda crush our spirit after 9/11.
  • We won’t allow division to destroy our country.

We must rise up together to defeat him in November and begin to heal again. Now is the time to register to vote. To request your mail-in or absentee ballot. To exercise your most sacred right as an American.

And as we move forward, we will throw Trump and Trumpism into the dustbin of history.

Lol, so why did he grow up in Queens and Manhatten?

You really need to know when to concede. So because his family was wealthy they needed to live on their own island?

President Donald Trump grew up on the outskirts of Queens in New York City.

Jamaica Estates, where he lived until age 13, is an affluent community, filled with stately homes and wide, tree-lined streets.

"Different parts of Queens were rough; this was an oasis," Trump told the New York Times in 2015. He said Jamaica Estates "was safe — it was very family oriented."

The five-bedroom Tudor-style house where Trump lived until he was four years old was put up for auction after it failed to sell for its $2.9 million asking price earlier this year.

@buka001 claimed Trump's father was a billionaire. Billionaires don't live in Queens, lol. If they're in the North East, they'd live in a massive apartment in Manhattan or if they are a hedge fund billionaire, in Connecticut and definitely have a holiday house in the Hamptons or Cape Cod.

Reporter Confronts Trump Over Tax Ruling & Donald Loses Control

On Thursday, former top Trump adviser Steve Bannon was arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering. The federal criminal charges stemmed from a crowdfunding scheme going by “We Build The Wall,” which, as its name suggests, collected money under the pretext of funding a southern border wall. That’s not where the money went — instead, it went into the pockets of Bannon and his co-conspirators. On Thursday at the White House, reporter Geoff Bennett confronted Trump about the “culture of lawlessness” that surrounds him, since Bannon is one of several former Trump campaign officials to face criminal charges.

Before the reporter even finished their question, Trump cut in:

‘There was great lawlessness in the Obama Administration. They spied on our campaign illegally. And if you look at all of the things, and all of the scandals they had, they had tremendous lawlessness, but I know nothing about — I was not involved in the project. I have no idea who was, but I can tell you, I didn’t know the people. The three people that were talked about were people that I did not know.’

Watch his comments below:

Trump is referring to, it seems, Bannon’s three co-conspirators who were also taken into custody and criminally charged. His concurrent assertion, however, that he has “no idea who was” involved in the project stands in stark contrast to facts like his own long history with Bannon and his long association with some other folks who were connected to the fraudulent effort. Former Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, for instance, served as the effort’s “General Counsel,” according to their website — and Trump also at one point appointed Kobach to help lead a now defunct federal commission looking into baseless allegations of voter fraud.

Also — Trump’s assertion that the Obama administration spied on his campaign is a lie. The Obama administration conducted judicially-supervised surveillance on a former Trump adviser, Carter Page, who at the time of the surveillance was not associated with the Trump campaign.

Meanwhile, on Thursday at the White House, Trump also responded to a Thursday court ruling striking down his legal team’s argument that he should be exempt from a subpoena from Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance for his financial records. Trump belligerently called Vance’s investigation “a continuation of the most disgusting witch hunt in the history of our country,” which is ridiculous. Trump is not being persecuted. He’s being held accountable for his actions.

Ok. He was poor then. His dad struggled to feed the family, and sent his kids out to street corners to beg.

That's why he got bone spurs and was excused from vietnam

Does it matter whether he was a multi-millionaire or a billionaire? Warren Buffet is a billionaire and lives in Nebraska...

Cooked their goose - desperate for a "win" after today's judicial triumphs.

US demands restoration of UN sanctions against Iran

All other UN Security Council members believe the US does not have the legal right to demand a "snapback" of sanctions.

The Trump administration on Thursday formally notified the United Nations of its demand for all UN sanctions on Iran to be restored, citing significant Iranian violations of the 2015 nuclear deal.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo delivered the notification to the president of the UN Security Council, setting the stage for a showdown in the world body that could lead to a crisis of credibility for its most important and powerful institution. Even before Pompeo presented the council president with the notice, other members rejected the step.

None of the other council members believe the United States has the legal right to demand the re-imposition, or "snapback," of sanctions because President Donald Trump withdrew from the nuclear deal in 2018. As such, the demand is expected to further isolate the US at the UN and test the Security Council's credibility.

A STATEMENT BY FORMER REPUBLICAN NATIONAL SECURITY OFFICIALS

We are profoundly concerned about our nation's security and standing in the world under the leadership of Donald Trump. The President has demonstrated that he is dangerously unfit to serve another term.

We are former national security officials who served during the administrations of Presidents Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush, and/or Donald Trump, or as Republican Members of Congress. We are profoundly concerned about the course of our nation under the leadership of Donald Trump. Through his actions and his rhetoric, Trump has demonstrated that he lacks the character and competence to lead this nation and has engaged in corrupt behavior that renders him unfit to serve as President.

For the following reasons, we have concluded that Donald Trump has failed our country and that Vice President Joe Biden should be elected the next President of the United States.

To that end, we are firmly convinced that it is in the best interest of our nation that Vice President Joe Biden be elected as the next President of the United States, and we will vote for him.
