If Reddit is an indicator, since it's majority American, the issue is that a lot of Americans have no clue how their system of government works.

So Democrats CAN say that Trump has done nothing about the riots, and their supporters believe it.

Jip. It's human nature. Not just Democrats but most people want a strong Authoritarian leader in times of crisis that can take decisive action and "fix" the problem.

Even many conservatives would not approve of Trump not just rolling in with the army and squashing the marxists uprising.

Yup funny how that ONLY happened with google. If you typed "blm is" in any other search engine like yahoo, duckduckgo and bing etc, you would see negative results such as racist, trash, toxic, bad, cult, violent etc. Go try it in any other search engine. Google is the only one where negative results disappeared.

That's not how it works.

In South Africa, for example, there were fewer deaths by car accident during the lockdown. Covid does not confer a protective effect against car accidents however.
