That Atlantic story is highly disputed by the way (see tweet by John Bolton posted earlier). I don't believe Trump would have been dumb enough to say those things given he obviously gets strong support from the military.

Bolton's book included sections to help the Democrats with their impeachment farce and he has also been caught lying about things he said. The book was a best seller before anyone ever read it, with 780 000 copies sold in the first week. Makes you wonder who bought most of those copies.

Its the rules in Swing States that matter

So what is your issue?
The states that are sending ballots unsolicited to voters are few, and they are in states where either Trump or Biden do not have a prayer (California, Utah)

All the Swing States require application... therefore they are solicited

- FLorida - You have to apply for your absentee ballot
- Maine - you have to apply for your ballot
- Any registered Michigan voter may apply for an absentee ballot and vote by mail.
- Any registered Minnesota voter may apply for an absentee ballot and vote by absentee ballot.
- Any registered Nevada voter may apply for an absentee ballot and vote by mail.
- You may vote by absentee ballot in New Hampshire if... lots of conditions
- Any registered Ohio voter may apply for an absentee ballot and vote absentee.
- Any registered Pennsylvania voter may apply for an absentee ballot and vote by mail.
- Any registered North Carolina voter may apply for an absentee ballot and vote by mail.
- VIrginia - they have to apply
- Any registered Wisconsin voter may apply for an absentee ballot and vote by mail.

Some of the big problems with postal ballots have been covered some pages back. Absentee ballots are considered the safest method and Trump has always been in support of them.

I would have also previously said that Absentee ballots are fine for swing states, but it seems the Democrats have been working hard to make them just as prone to fraud as other postal methods.
