I thought that Dem supporters believe in wearing masks. They attack Trump when he doesn't wear a mask. Why are they defending Pelosi for not wearing one? They should chastise her for it.I thought that Trump supporters don't believe in wearing masks. They defend Trump when he doesn't wear a mask. Why are they chastising Pelosi for not wearing one? Without question, you have exponentially more experience on MyBB than I do. You have posted more than I have even lerked. I was simply citing the reasoning for my own position so you could understand why I made that statement.Your past experience?
David = 2019 = 18 months.
Grant = 2007 = 13 years
Let's assume for discussion purposes, you are who you claim to be, not somebody else.
Given the exponential difference in presence on this forum, my opinion would be based on my own experiences.
I can see how my presence could come across like that, as I decided to make the most out of my limited time spent here. I was not planning on sticking around this long.You strike me as being overtly over invested in your crusade, close to the point of hysteria.
I would never report anyone because of a difference in opinion and I believe the only reports I have made against the two people spamming incredible quantities of false propaganda were well justified. If you go back through this thread, you will see how much fake news I debunked before I eventually said I reported for the constant false propaganda spam. Tyson -- the blatant propaganda spam bot -- was the only one I reported up until that point.Whithin a marginal time frame you have seen fit to report and threaten to report others who's opinions may clash with your own. A little introspection on your part may reveal you often project accusations on others for which you are also guilty.
We are not all that different in that regard. Though I don't doubt that I come across as a strong Trump supporter after having challenged more false narratives than I can count. Hitting back hard against lies and propaganda is the only way to break through all the dishonesty and expose the objective truth.Let me be quite clear here, I have no horse in this race. I have been accused by the liberals of being a conservative - even a trump supporter, while at the same time been branded a bleeding heart liberal by the conservatives. Truth be known, I have a bed in neither camp.
While this is certainly true to an extent, I hope you are sufficiently impartial to be able to see that the left never seems to have any compelling arguments, and I have done little more than provide facts, sources and objective reasoning.This thread has devolved into little more than a mud slinging contest, ironically representative of the political campaigns of both trump and the democrats at the moment. Both sides are too consumed with rubbishing each other to even offer voters actual incentive to go to the polls.
We saw the same thing in our own recent elections where the DA did little more than hurl mud at the ANC, while offering little as incentive.
What we have in this thread is two tribes so heavily invested in their respective narratives, that they have become myopic and refuse to recognise their own failings.
Hypocrisy has no bounds here either, again, something neither side is able to see or recognise in themselves.
You however, are on a crusade to win a battle nobody can ever win.
You're not wrong, and I have no doubt that your federal experience has given you useful insight. No one can deny that his brazen rapport does plenty of harm to his reputation, though most people don't realize that false MSM narratives do exponentially more harm. It is also worth acknowledging that there may also be positive benefits which are far less obvious.As for trump, he may have achieved a couple of things the liberals could never bring themselves to acknowledge.
Simultaneously, trump is probably one of the most unstateman-like leaders the world has witnessed in recent time. His infantile comments on twitter are cringe worthy, which certainly do him no favours when playing in an international arena.
For my part, I have served 4 three year terms as a federal employee of the state dept, serving in different missions within sub-saharan Africa.
Much is done at high level by gentlemen's agreement "under the table". Reputation is key in commanding respect, without that, you are dead in the water. And this is where Trump's major failing sits. That lack of respect leads to little loyalty when one has to count on allies for support.
There is no point in trying to change the mind of someone who has TDS, but their impulse to spread fake news does provide an invaluable opportunity for anyone who can challenge their narrative with a compelling counter-argument.Give up your quest for truth for it will find no purchase here.
The reality here is that of two out of tune orchestras, playing to tone deaf audiences.
At best, an exersize in futility, with a few giggles on the side.
Many things in life cause unresolvable differences which can have devastating effects on relationships. When evaluating the effect on families, it's silly to even consider any of the conspiracy theories that surround QAnon, because you reach the same result if you only consider objective reality. Simply believing that Trump isn't pure evil is enough to cause an unresolvable divide between you and anyone who identifies with leftist ideology. This holds true even if the person doesn't even know that QAnon exists, which would suggest that QAnon is not a considerable factor.And the effect it has had on families? Not doing any harm?

It has come to the President's attention that Executive Branch agencies have spent
millions of taxpayer dollars to date "training" government workers to believe divisive, anti-
American propaganda.
For example, according to press reports, employees across the Executive Branch have been required to attend trainings where they are told that "virtually all White people contribute to racism" or where they are required to say that they "benefit from racism." According to press reports, in some cases these training have further claimed that there is racism embedded in the belief that America is the land of opportunity or the belief that the most qualified person should receive a job.
These types of "trainings" not only run counter to the fundamental beliefs for which our Nation has stood since its inception, but they also engender division and resentment within the Federal workforce. We can be proud that as an employer, the Federal government has employees of all races, ethnicities, and religions. We can be proud that Americans from all over the country seek to join our workforce and dedicate themselves to public service. We can be proud of our continued efforts to welcome all individuals who seek to serve their fellow Americans as Federal employees. However, we cannot accept our employees receiving training that seeks to undercut our core values as Americans and drive division within our workforce.
The President has directed me to ensure that Federal agencies cease and desist from using taxpayer dollars to fund these divisive, un-American propaganda training sessions. Accordingly, to that end, the Office of Management and Budget will shortly issue more detailed guidance on implementing the President's directive. In the meantime, all agencies are directed to begin to identify all contracts or other agency spending related to any training on "critical race theory/9 "white privilege," or any other training or propaganda effort that teaches or suggests either (1) that the United States is an inherently racist or evil country or (2) that any race or ethnicity is inherently racist or evil. In addition, all agencies should begin to identify all available avenues within the law to cancel any such contracts and/or to divert Federal dollars away from these un-American propaganda training sessions.
The President, and his Administration, are fully committed to the fair and equal treatment of all individuals in the United States. The President has a proven track record of standing for those whose voice has long been ignored and who have failed to benefit from all our country has to offer, and he intends to continue to support all Americans, regardless of race, religion, or creed. The divisive, false, and demeaning propaganda of the critical race theory movement is contrary to all we stand for as Americans and should have no place in the Federal government.
On a Friday evening and as November looms, the White House has opened another front in the culture war. At the direction of the president, the Office of Management and Budget is ordering all federal agencies to “cease and desist” any government training programs that include any reference to “critical race theory” or “white privilege,” RealClearPolitics has exclusively learned.
The theory has long been in vogue within academics. Trump now seeks to root it out within the administrative state. Among the ideas underpinning CRT, now formally condemned by the White House, is that the law and all accompanying legal institutions are inherently racist, and that race itself has no biological grounds. The concept of ethnicity is, instead, the product of a white society that uses systems and institutions to advance its own interests at the expense of minorities.
Why does this academic thesis matter? Because it drives government action. And because, during this summer of unrest following George Floyd’s death at the hands of a Minneapolis police officer, the president has been asked numerous times if he believes that systemic racism is a problem in America. His answer has been no, and a clearer picture of his thinking comes in the form of a memo authored by OMB Director Russ Vought.
“It has come to the President’s attention that Executive Branch agencies have spent millions of taxpayer dollars to date ‘training’ government workers to believe divisive, anti-American propaganda,” Vought writes in the memo, obtained first by RCP.
“For example, according to press reports, employees across the Executive Branch have been required to attend trainings where they are told that ‘virtually all White people contribute to racism’ or where they are required to say that they ‘benefit from racism,’” he continued.
As the country grapples with questions of race and equality in policing, Trump has ordered that any programing relating to “white privilege” end immediately. According to the White House, such ideas are “divisive, anti-American propaganda.”
I have an idea what he's thinking ...Poor bugger. Having to live with her must be worse than any prison.

That's the thing. It is a strawman argument to say that those who are critical of Trump, think he is evil.Many things in life cause unresolvable differences which can have devastating effects on relationships. If you did an honest evaluation of damage done to families by differences in opinion on Trump, you would have to conclude that most of the damage is caused by those who are consumed by leftist ideology, as they are the ones who are unable to have any kind of rational discussion, which would be needed to resolve the conflict. You would also see that the real victim is usually the other party, who is often a pragmatist with good values and a love for their country.
