Donnie's wife Michelle and daughters Sasha and Malia could not be reached for comment.

No history Donnie won't rewrite; no lie Trumpists won't believe.

It's a cult.

It's literally an alternate reality as defined by Dear Leader.

From this, pay-walled.

"got everyone back to work", "he's honest", "commitment to reducing the national debt".

I mean... o_O

Federal prosecutor Nora Dannehy, a top aide to U.S. Attorney John H. Durham in his Russia investigation, has quietly resigned — at least partly out of concern that the investigative team is being pressed for political reasons to produce a report before its work is done, colleagues said.

Now that Oregon and California is on fire has Trump shown any interest whatsoever? He was very concerned when he wanted to blame antifa for riots, but now that there's widespread devastation he's not interested.

Also, the brain poisoned hoaxes about antifa invasions from Trump and co continue to create massive problems, including leading people to ignore fire evacuation orders.

lol, this dude's on crack. Just basic errors.

It was supposed to supercharge growth, business investment and take-home pay. It did none of these and instead blew a massive hole in the deficit.

Instead it was a giant hand-out to lobbyists and billionaires.

You can't use the deficit as a metric. Covid, the continued lockdowns drastically increased federal spending. If it was any other year we could have this debate.

Democrats always believe in increasing tax where as the Republicans believe in lower. Excessive taxing will ALWAYS cripple/stagnate the economy. The average low to middle-class person felt the difference with more money in their pocket and that is the most important part.

Yes tax evasion is a massive problem, as well as lobbyists ensuring some loopholes for big corporations. Unfortunately if you have the money you can hire someone to exploit the loopholes.

The original post was about the tax breaks benefiting the rich, ie not corporations, more than the middle-class which is a lie.

Joe Biden if president will push allies like Australia to do more on climate, adviser says

Joe Biden will not pull any punches with allies including Australia in seeking to build international momentum for stronger action on the climate crisis, an adviser to the US presidential candidate has said.

If elected in November, Biden will hold heavy emitters such as China accountable for doing more “but he’s also going to push our friends to do more as well”, according to Jake Sullivan, who was the national security adviser to Biden when he was vice-president and is now in the candidate’s inner circle.

In a wide-ranging podcast interview with the Sydney-based Lowy Institute, Sullivan also signalled that Biden would work closely with Australia and other regional allies in responding to the challenges posed by the rise of China.
Sure he will... Just as he was tough on China for 8 years together with Obama. There is a reason China prefers that Biden win and it is not because he will ensure they comply with environmental regulations.

And couldn't Biden have said all this himself instead of it coming from Sullivan?

Why don't you actually read the articles, man?

The deficit exploded pre-pandemic already.

And only 14% of people believed their taxes went down.

I did read it. The rise in deficit was expected from before Trump was elected or the tax cuts were introduced.

"The Bad News: The Long-Term Outlook
The bad news is that the good news is only short term, and that the long-term fiscal situation is still of great concern. CBO projects that after 2015 the deficit will begin to increase again due to the aging population, increased health care costs, and higher interest on the debt. In addition, some observers contend that the higher than expected revenue is illusory, because it’s in part due to one-time moves by wealthy taxpayers at the end of 2012 to avoid higher tax rates that take effect in 2013. And while CBO revised its 10 year deficit projection downward by $618 billion, it still forecasts deficits totaling $6.3 trillion over the period, raising the debt to more than $25 trillion by 2023. " -Full Article (2015)

You fail to realize that a tax cut takes longer to yield results than a tax increase w.r.t deficit.

Biden spokesman ducks answering Fox's Baier on Biden teleprompter use

Biden 2020 national press secretary T.J. Ducklo refused to answer Fox News anchor Bret Baier on Thursday as he repeatedly asked whether Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden's campaign is providing the former vice president a teleprompter during question-and-answer sessions with reporters and supporters.

The Biden aide made an appearance on Baier's "Special Report" and accused the anchor of using "Trump campaign talking points" in asking about whether the campaign uses teleprompters to answer questions during briefings.

"Has Joe Biden ever used a teleprompter during local interviews or to answer Q&As with supporters?” Baier asked.

“We’re not,” Ducklo said, before shifting to saying Baier was using “Trump campaign talking points.”

lol, pretty amazing that you want to simultaneously argue that Trump's policies are good but they also actually have zero effect on anything.

And how have the cuts not yielded the results almost 3 years after passing? Makes zero sense.

Of everyone on this thread you should know how complex the economy actually is. It's not a snap of the finger then all problems are solved. The issues listed in the article I linked are still applicable.

Just because the deficit is growing does not mean the plan does not work. If it was going to increase prior to tax cuts anyway it is actually telling that it is not growing more rapidly.

You're still arguing that his policies are good, but also had no effect at all, somehow. Really bizarre reasoning.

And we know their plan didn't work because we have the data to directly judge the claims they made about it. It failed miserably by the criteria they set.

Yeah sure.. unemployed people regularly give money to a campaign. Also funny to assume that democrats have more "home-makers" than republicans or that more retied people vote Democrat.

Wishful thinking that this will be investigated before voting. Might be a big coincidence, but already more likely than Russiagate.

Took 5 seconds to find out this is complete BS. The payment platform lists retired people as 'unemployed' and there's no 'self employed' option, so they also get chucked in there.

You're the mark, dude.

I don't care what lofty campaign promises they made or didn't make.

I am arguing tax cuts are more beneficial than tax hikes. In the long run this will always be true. You can go compare this to Europe if you want. While you're at it go read up on the problem with austerity.
