The Left don't even know what socialism is - they constantly refer to the Scandinavian countries as socialist but they are not - they are a different form of capitalism:
Scandinavian states are mixed market modern social welfare states. You ganna go crazy when you learn what they mean by "mixed-market"

Hey Em, I recall asking you multiple times to actually point out what reporting was incorrect - you seem incapable of doing so. Odd!

Have you read the Senate report? It affirms the reporting.

I have discussed this on numerous occasions. Feel free to go back and look up my posting history. The entire thing is a conspiracy theory.

I have read the Senate report. It's a **** show. Have you? The fact that the Senate report comes to TWO VERY DIFFERENT CONCLUSIONS seems to escape you. Have you read the Mueller report? Obviously you have not.

There was no collusion. There is no evidence anywhere. There was zero basis for ANY of the FISA warrants either. But keep banging that drum.

At this point we should all stop pretending this is Joe Biden the people will be voting for.

”A Harris administration together with Joe Biden as the President of the United States, the Biden-Harris administration, will have access, provide access to one hundred billion dollars in low interest loans and investments for minority business owners”…

Me, in August:

Joe is what we have. He'll be a transitional POTUS and I'm okay with that.

Me, In July:

Because he's... not... Donald J Trump.

EDIT: https://www.pewresearch.org/politic...or-issues/pp_06-30-20_public-mood-trump-00-5/

PP_06.30.20_public.mood_.trump-00-5.png

Me, again in July:

I feel like I've discussed this before... Probably because I have.

Dems are voting *against* Donnie, rather than *for* Joe, and I have to tell ya, they're using expressions like 'crawling through hell, over broken glass, during a pandemic, just to get to the polls.'

Seems "enthusiasm" isn't the motivator for Dems in 2020... urgent, desperate need 'tho.

Also, 6000 Trumpists in a 20 000 seater in Tulsa and a bunch of TicTok kids say 'Hi.'

I'd be voting for Joe Biden. I like his policies.

Free market adherent, Pinochet, virtuously threw people out of helicopters.

You can make claims about rich people vs not. I wouldn't say rich people are necessarily good people they are just people and privilege can make second generations entitled little pricks. But you're not aware of the majority of wealthy businessmen and women. They just go about their lives building companies, wealth and providing jobs.

No this comment of yours is just asinine. If you want to conflate economic views to actions then you can't, and never will, beat socialism/communism crimes.

You basically prove the whole point of why we are seeing and will be seeing a lot more "orangeman bad" articles in the coming weeks. It's part of the strategy to get people to vote against Trump rather than for Biden. It's pretty much how many vote in SA as well.

And no Kamala is NOT fit to be a VP let alone a president. If he picked Tulsi he would have more actual support, but mah token....

Is that the facepalm for yourself as you characteristically wipe out the entire centre of political ideologies?

I guess when you become hyperpartisan, there is no centre?

Centre right people do vote Democrat at times. Many did so in 2016.

Your link was about which political party some college professors will vote for.

Do you have facts that support the claim that 99% of academia is left wing?

Edit - quoted from Emjay's study, which proves my point -

The majority of academia is left wing. Period. This is something that has been discussed many times, and is not disputed. Many people self sensor because Conservative positions, and especially Trump supporters, on campuses are not welcome. Believe it. Don't. It does not make a difference.

You really are just coming across very uptight and nitpicking.

Harvey Weinstein and Jeffrey Epstein would like a word.

I mean sure, but you're going to have to count pigs like Weinstein and Epstein, as well as organised crime and the dumb luck of birth and inheritance as virtuous then too.

What utter bulls**t, konfab.

Tell us. Do you agree with people who have been convicted of a crime being able to vote?

I was hoping he'd nod to the left. He's done more than that.

Now, about the Senate and the filibuster...
He's not nodding. He's bending over which is why Bernies supporters tolerate him.

Yeah filibuster. The democrats favorite tool when it suits them. Democrats in the upper chamber used that very same filibuster just recently to obstruct a coronavirus relief package, and previously this year to block GOP-led police reform legislation Oh and don't forget that they still hold the record for the longest filibuster of 60 days on the 1964 civil rights act.

I am aware of that. However, some people do become rich off the backs of poor working folk. Nothing virtuous about that.

There is a reason why some CEO's score highly on psycopathic traits and are great disciples of Machiavelli.

Take a look at Hertz activities as of late, as a good example.

Hertz executives got paid bonuses in the hundreds of thousands of dollars, totalling $16 million. A month later declared bankruptcy and laid off thousands of employees.

So virtuous.

Also, generating value and receiving compensation for such value is not a virtue. There are many professions which are not virtuous. However, assigning moral standards to the ability to vote is just utterly stupid because morality and virtue differ from person to person.

I am not disputing that academia does in general lean left, but to declare that 99% of academia as left is intellectually dishonest and typical ideological tribalism foe the sake of tribalism.

Studies have shown that it depends on the faculty.

Engineering, mathematics, physics and economics tend to lean more right.

Hence, I would love to see the study that says 99% of academia is left wing.

Your link literally states that the correlation of who professors vote for, cannot be extrapolated fairly to ideology.

Like I said. Uptight, and nitpicking. Even when Kieppie admitted he was over exaggerating.

Was that the stimulus package that allocated funding for the F-35?

Touché just like the democrat covid bill which included the green new deal. Start agreeing on a baseline and push that through. Then focus on adding to it. All this excess fluff is unnecessary.

As a side note wth is up with these US popular mechanics type of articles. I use to enjoy reading PM way back

It is a fair question that PM is asking.

Should PM not be questioning whether the emperor is indeed clothed?
