I think it is primarily for economic reasons.

Unlike BLM and the left which seeks anarchy, upheaval and destruction.

I thought the left would be exalted at the decision.

As folk are pointing out, Fox and I believe they're looking at placement for senate races too.

Comparatively they're tiny and the best I can figure, their funding is generated on twitter/FB etc. The Fox ad buy was smart 'tho and it generated $1M worth of donations, so they're fighting way, way above their weight class.

Watched the following American political comedy movie last night :

Irresistible is a 2020 American political comedy film written and directed by Jon Stewart. It stars Steve Carell, Chris Cooper, Mackenzie Davis, Topher Grace, Natasha Lyonne, and Rose Byrne. The film follows a Democratic strategist who tries to help a local candidate win an election in a small right-wing town.

Initially set for a theatrical release, the film was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States and then distributed digitally through video on demand on June 26, 2020, by Focus Features.

A group of veterans opposed to President Donald Trump released a new video calling him out over reports that the U.S. government knew the Russian military paid bounties to Afghan militants for killing American soldiers.
On Friday, The New York Times reported that Trump was briefed on the situation in March, but took no action against Russia. To the contrary, Trump said he would like to invite Russian President Vladimir Putin to the next G-7 meeting in September.
Trump said on Twitter that he was not briefed about the alleged bounties, called the Times “fake news” and claimed “nobody’s been tougher on Russia” than his administration.

VoteVets ripped into him.
“Putin owns Donald Trump,” the organization wrote on Twitter, along with the #TRE45SON hashtag that went viral over the weekend. The group also released a new video:


“Intelligence reports on his desk. He says nothing to his master. Takes no action to protect us,” the voiceover stated. “If you’re going to act like a traitor, you don’t get to thank us for our service.”

That couple are a pure distillation of 40 years of Republican orthodoxy, backed up by twenty five years of Fox News' fear and grievance mongering.

It's a gated community, the folk marching - on the public sidewalk - are their *neighbours* in that community.

Their response to a group of BLM folk peacefully walking by their house is to grab a machine gun to threaten and intimidate them.

Their privilege allows them to brandish firearms at folk who are, in no way whatsoever, threatening them - seemingly without consequence.

Fear and grievance.

"Heroes"? Not even a bit.
