Off you go...

I'll wait.
Was more on the weights used with the remaining votes, but seems that Chris posted already.

However I would add that is assuming the polls are an accurate reflection of the voters that remain.
YouGov is making a mistake using historic breakdown to predict future voting. Also worrying that their sample size is only 603 people polled.

Yeah I get that and it could definitely go in Trump's favour, but so far it's not looking that way. There are some clear differences between 2016 and 2020, and Trump is underwater in territories that should have been safe havens for him electorally.

But perhaps most worrisome for the President: Trump's clearly behind his 2016 pace. By this point four years ago, he was rapidly closing the gap with Hillary Clinton. No such advancements can be seen in the 2020 polling against Biden.
Right now, Biden is up by about 9 to 10 points nationally, depending on the average you examine. He is, importantly, over 50%. Biden's edge may be down a point or so from early October, though it is well within the historical average from the beginning of the year.

Trump also benefited greatly from some last-minute windfalls, namely the James Comey announcement of the investigation into HRC's emails. Despite trying to smear Hunter Biden with a similar tactic, it's just not sticking to Joe. Right now the Republicans are sharting themselves and for good reason.

Yes Biden the saviour.

While he was busy tweeting, Trump was out there getting **** done. :sneaky:

Getting stuff done by asking Apple to fix a button?

Or getting stuff done by getting rid of the pandemic response team, that had planned and prepared for the exact thing that came, which Trump was then left unprepared for?

Making sure hundreds of thousands Americans die, is what Trumpets consider "getting stuff done". Quite sick actually, although that's the tolerant right for you.

He didn't get rid of the response team. You're perpetuating convenient lies.

Biden is more to blame for the deaths due to Covid than Trump. Who do you think depleted the masks and never replaced them? If this was not the case they would not have had to play down mask usage in the beginning due to shortages.

Well, Trump is the President after all, so we would expect him to be doing more than Biden, in the years when Biden wasn't even in government, duh
The point was more that Biden was out lying and spreading half-truths just as he does now.

What interesting phrasing from Mitch yesterday...

It's almost like the Senate Majority Leader has access to high quality Republican polling.

Almost.

Did you read the article? It checked the question of whether the pandemic response team was fired and returned with a response that no they weren't fired, the team was restructured. Semantics.

In May 2018, former national security adviser John Bolton restructured Trump's National Security Council and disbanded the global health unit. Its former head, Rear Adm. Timothy Ziemer, resigned from the administration and was not replaced.

They "reorganised" it into a smaller team by subsuming it under an existing division. Key figures resigned and others moved to different departments.

Clearly the restructure failed.

Trump is equally to blame for stockpile shortages. Annual reviews of the stockpile take place and occured during Trump's presidency prior to COVID. The stockpile was not increased.

It was his stockpile for 38 months. By his own admission he knew very early how serious the virus was and instead downplayed it all.
